Excellent park. A bunch of space between sites and ample room. Close to the Mammoth Cave area, and you can take a ferry across Green River to Mammoth. Park is open year around. We camped at Nolin Lake State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Very clean park. Staff was friendly and kept the place clean. We stayed for 5 days and it was almost empty the whole time. Part of the Shawnee National Forest so there are alot of places to go to around there. Access to KY is thru a free Ferry! We camped at Cave-in-Rock State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Lake Le-Aqua Na State Park, Lena, Illinois

Date of Stay: October, 2005 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Well kept campground. This is also an Equestrian park, so you will see horses on the trails. Nice lake with paddleboats and rowboats. Sites were a bit close together for a state park, but nice nonetheless. We camped at Lake Le-Aqua Na State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Mississippi Palisades State Park, Savanna, Illinois

Overall Rating:

Excellent State Park. Very clean and relatively quiet. Wide open spaces between sites and the grounds are well cared for. The other side of the state park has a bunch of great trails that my kids loved. We camped at Mississippi Palisades State Park in a Travel Trailer.
