Take the two previous reviews and moderate both and you have a fair review of this campground. Yes it is family run by a Mother/Daughter combo that sometimes appear somewhat eccentric. Yes, rules posted and printed are somewhat harsh and intimidating, but rarely monitored or enforced. My dog (Hank) and I were in residence here for two months, and have thoroughly enjoyed it. The campground provided what we needed!!! Clean, well maintained, level sites. We are self contained and need not the showers/washrooms. Certainly not a lot of amenities: privacy and location were our requirements. I will be coming back and will stay here again.

New park, has spacious sites and was clean and neat. Owners are very friendly, reside near the park, are committed to improve the community and their park. Each site is a gravel pad with picnic table, firepit and full hookups. There are several ongoing projects to improve the facilities and sites: including bathroom/shower/laundry facility and landscaping. Located 1 mile from Crater of Diamonds State Park. Has weekly/monthly rates for serious diamond hunters.

An adequate, older campground, with store. A treed woodsy setting and it is pet friendly.
