This is a good campground right on the beach. Clean and well maintained. Our site was in the back of C loop, but still well worth it.

Date of Stay:

Benbow has changed to a KOA campground, but little has changed. There are many permanent trailers, that look run down. Yes, there is a good golf and a new kids play ground. The Internet is not useable; INTERNET IS IMPORTANT and they just don't get it. Our site was next to a perm trailer and was not well kept.

Overall nice park, they just do not get some of the extra's campers are looking for. Our site was level with small grass picnic table and fire pit, all good. We have two dog's and the pet areas were very poor and too small. The internet was to slow and did not work the last day at all. INTERNET IS IMPORTANT!!! An internet password 5th#3N*QP%6 and then it does not work 3 or 4 times in a row.

Wow, one of the nicest parks we have been too in a long time. Big concrete pads, that are well spaced from the next site. Lots of room for walking and biking with the kids. The view of Lake Powell is outstanding, yes the water level is down some but still very nice. Were we there in early spring weather in the 70's, the lake still cold but fun. We liked the back in site vs. the pull-thru area better as we stayed 4 nights.

The park has a great location on the Virgin River in town, walking distance to Zion park entrance and all of town activities. Sites are average in size, but everything worked well. Access to the river was fun for our dogs and kids. We were early in the season and they were fixing/repairing many things, but all done in a professional way. We will come back.

The park is old, very old. The sites are very close together. We made two reservation for 2 days then 3 days, the office made us move across because it was too difficult for them to not do so. Very poor customer service, they just did not care. Our 50 amp only had a 30 amp plug, so poor. We would not come back.

I am sorry to say that we were very disappointed with park and management. We called for reservation and asked about permanent residences at the park and we told only staff. This is not true, more than half the park is full time there and the sites look like it. I wanted a campground, not a trailer park and there is a big difference in cleanliness and type of clients. We were going to stay 3 nights but left early, wife just not comfortable there. We will not go back.

Maple Leaf is a large clean park that is well set up. It has easy access to shopping, restaurants and 101 fwy, but not noisy. There are two issues, the internet was extremely slow, basic not usable. And, there are many permanent spots with farm workers. This would not be an issue for me, but our first night we watched the police take our neighbor away in handcuffs. There were 3 police cars, too much drama for me. The wife does not want to go back.

This Park is right on the North end of Clearlake which could be great, but it is not so. The lake is green, the park is mostly dirt and sites are small. The park manager warned us about vandalism in the area and we should lock everything up. Just not a good feeling overall. We stayed one night and explored the lake, but did not find any real nice places to stay in Nice.

The park is clean and well organized. Check in was fast and friendly. The park is next to hwy 5, but noise was not a big problem. The sites are very tight, with many motorhomes hot having their slides out. The internet was on the slow side, with modest signal strength. We would find another park next time.

This Park is in a very nice location, just a short wake to Birch Bay and all its charm. There are some perm sites, but pretty well kept. Check in was easy and our site was a pull-through. Internet was very fast with a strong signal.

Scenic View is exactly what this park has to offer and More! Has fantastic views of the Cook Inlet and mountains in the distance. Easy access to Homer, Kenai and Charter fishing out of Ninilchik. The best part is the charming atmosphere that these hosts bring to their park. Great times around the fire ring with a view to remember.

This is a very good park to avoid the hassle of Anchorage. It's near the highway on a paved road on the Eagle River. Many sites have views through the trees of the river and rapids. This was a good one night stop for Anchorage to get supplies from Costco or Fred.

We stayed at Rivers Edge for the Summer Solstice in 2010. This may have been a mistake as the Park was too far out to walk to any of the good activities. Laundry room was OK, but several washers were broken. The worst thing was the internet which was so bad, you did not want to try to use it. We would not go back here next time.

This park is clean and up to date, but is very close to Hwy 80. The freeway noise was more than I expected. We had spot D2 near the road. Check in was easy and quick, she was very nice. Good park, but I would stay some where quieter next time.
