Portland Fairview RV Park, Fairview, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $61.00
Overall Rating:

As mentioned in other reviews, they are now calling this park a resort. The only resort item we saw was a very small pool. The WiFi and cable were good. The sites were clean, but very tight for both the 5th wheel and pickup. We stayed here years ago and thought it was worth the money at that time. Now they are way overpriced. With a Good Sam discount, we still payed $61.00 a night. Over the past 6 years, we have vacationed in all 48 states in some beautiful RV resorts and have never paid close to $61 per night. We will not stay here again. We camped at Portland Fairview RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Iroquois Campground and RV Park, Peru, New York

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $2.00
Overall Rating:

We read the reviews on this campground and choose it because it had everything we needed. Upon arrival, we were told the daily rate was $32 for 2-3 people. When we asked for an internet code, we were handed a rate sheet, starting at $3.95 for 1/2 hour and ending with a monthly rate. We know that some parks charge for internet (although in our travels thru most of the US and CA we have never paid), but $4 for 1/2 hour is ridiculous. We drove another ~15 miles and found a wonderful campground for $26.50 per night with free internet. We camped at Iroquois Campground and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Cannonville / Bryce Valley KOA, Cannonville, Utah

Date of Stay: May, 2010 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

We attempted to stay in this park on Thursday night prior to Memorial weekend. Of course, they were totally booked. The managers got on the phone and started calling other campgrounds close to Bryce National Park and found another campground for us. We appreciate their help so much, and although we were unable to stay at this KOA campground, I would recommend it because of the overall helpfulness of the managers. We camped at Cannonville / Bryce Valley KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
