We chose this park because it was rated highly in the 2005 Trailer Life guide, and we are glad we did. The smoking is not a problem in the office as we had read in previous posts here. It is now a "non-smoking" office which appeared to be very neat and clean. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. Pool and bath houses were clean. With the train on one side and a road on the other, this campground can be noisy at times. Sites are well maintained but are slightly narrow. Good tree shading. We enjoyed our visit and will probably camp here again.

We stayed here two nights while visiting the amusement park. We were lucky and were given a shaded campsite. There are some sites without trees. The campsite we were given had the electric and water hookups on the opposite side of the trailer (the door side). When we asked if we could move over one site, we were nastily told no. When I said that site was available, they said it would be too much trouble to change. I had to buy a longer water hose at their campstore just to hook up! Trash pickup several times a day from the front of your campsite was convenient.
