There was lots of shade and the bathrooms were clean and maintained. Those were the only good things though. The pull through spots were practically on top of each other: only a few feet between them. The overnight spots were at the entrance and the "good" spots were all seasonal. Lake was mostly drained. Small playground was broken and could have been easily repaired but not safe as it was. There was a large storage shed next to pull through spots that had old appliances, barrels, etc., all around it: not a very nice view. They wanted to charge extra if you ran your air too! We planned to stay 2 nights but left after 1st night.

We camped here based on the reviews here and are glad we did. It was a great park for the family. We had a site with full hook-ups on the small lake/pond in the middle of the campground and close to the clean bathrooms. There were 2 playgrounds close by for the kids. The road was paved which is great for bikes and the campground was adjacent to the bike path. Lots of paved trails throughout the camp too. The small lake was full of little bluegills, frogs, and turtles which the kids had a blast catching over and over. There is also an archery range and skeet range in the park. Sites on the water were close together but most other sites had more room around them.

If there are water hook ups at sites here we were not aware of them. There are just water fountains centrally between many sites that could be hooked up to for a quick fill. The sites were among mature trees so there was great shade. Our site had lots of weeds but we were possibly some of the first campers of season. We had a nice view of the lake. There were 2 play areas near us, both geared towards the younger set (as in 7 and under). My older kids were not thrilled with the play area, however my 5 yr old was in heaven. The roads are paved so bike riding is good. Bathrooms and showers were private locked stalls in our area. This made it easier for families to use. Showers were powerful and hot! There are boat ramps located in campground so some extra traffic but not a problem. Lots of hills though and some sharp turn as an FYI. We'll camp here again.

We were pleasantly surprised with this RV park. It was very close to the interstate so we feared road noise, but it was not a problem. It was well laid out, very clean, lots for kids to do, and the owners were very nice and attentive. Nice distance between spaces too. We had a nice pull thru spot with water and electric. Nice playground for the kids, big frisbee golf course, small pond, and train rides for little kids 2x a day. Roads are course gravel so bike riding is bumpy. The main reason this park didn't get a 10/10 rating from us is is due to the lack of shade trees (it's a newer park) and muck in the pond that prevented swimming at the small beach area. Our family enjoyed our stay here.
