Only one loop that would accomodate our 38' unit. Came in at night. Mistake, not having been here before. Enjoyed the campground --- lots of hiking trails in the park. No sewer sites. limited 50 amp sites. Folks were friendly and helped a great deal. If in the area, may use it for a stop-over for a few nights. Visited the "Little White House". Interesting.

Date of Stay:

One of the few state parks we have stayed in that has some full-hookup (includes sewer). Close to Savannah. Very close to two groceries and fuel. Staff at office/store very receptive and helpful. This was our second visit and will not be the last.

Rate is US Access Pass. This is second stay within one month. Nice, small, park provided by Corp of Engineers. Paved roadways and sites. Good view of Lake Seminole from 2 of the 3 loops. Limited shopping in area. Not too far from Quincy, Marianna, and about 45 minutes from Tallahassee. For camping needs, Camping World is about 40 minutes, near intersection of I-10 & US-90. Quiet area, with clear sky space, even with lights from nearby power plant at Woodruff Dam. Only real drawback - while the bath/shower houses are nice, relatively new, they are not well vented and in the middle-day to evening sun, they are very hot - no conditioned air.

Date of Stay:

Rate is for Coast-to-Coast. They add a mandatory $5 for extra services: but that goes for everyone, except those on month-by-month. First 5-6 rows of sites are a bit close but newer sites toward the back are well spaced. Exceptionally clean and spacious bathroom/showers and air conditioned. Has nice staff and owners. Guests we met were very friendly. We will definitely go back.

Date of Stay:

Quiet park, even though it is located near I-95. Natural setting between sites helps with privacy. Drawback is unpaved roads and sites: produces dust when there has been no rain. Nice access to park facility with covered pavilions and access to waterway. Nice stopover on way south with convenience to Brunswick and Jekyll Island area.
