Cape Hatteras KOA, Rodanthe, North Carolina

Date of Stay: May, 2010 - $90.00
Overall Rating:

Beware, most sites are water / electric only. Lots were small and close together. Our first lot had a bush/tree that took up half the lot. Had a loud young adult group in cabins nearby: two nights of noise before they were asked to leave after numerous complaints by several different people. While staying, someone broke a water hook up, they had to shut water off to all the lots to fix. Bath houses had water and mud standing in them every visit. Grass was not mowed. It's overpriced: nickle and dimes you for everything with extra charges for children, visitors or guests. There are nicer campgrounds nearby for less money. We camped at Cape Hatteras KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Neuseway Nature Park, Kinston, North Carolina

Date of Stay: March, 2010 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

This park has friendly people, water, sewer, and 30/50amp electric hook ups for $15. It's no frills but clean. Can't beat it. We camped at Neuseway Nature Park in a Fifth Wheel.
