What a FANTASTIC Campground. Very clean and very roomy. We hit traffic on our way down, and the owners stayed late to insure we got in. They even helped unhook my tow dolly, and led me to my site to insure I got in well. The store was well stocked, with a 50% end of season discount. The sites were very large, and they even have a path to lead to a stream for tubing. I can't say enough nice things about this campground. They have a dog section where you let your dog off leash. They also have doggie poop bag dispensers throughout the park. We will DEFINITELY camp here again. BEAUTIFUL!!!

This was our 2nd stay at this campground. It is a very clean campground with a Lake, Swimming Pool, and a small water activity section (not a full blown water park... but very nice for kids). They have a full service snack bar and camp store as well. The sites offer plenty of room as well. All the workers were very friendly. They have plenty of room for your dog to run, and offer dog poop bags in several spots throughout the camp. My family truly loved this campground. We will visit again (for sure). We loved it here.

This was a very nice and clean park. Cement pads at every site. They own the hotel/condominium across the street and give you free access to their pool and lazy river. The stream was full of life (turtles, fish, and crawdads). We even saw a crane come to eat some fish. The park doesn't offer anything in the way of entertainment, however, as they say... Location, location, location. The park is truly kept well and clean. would definitely stay here again.

I must say, I was very disappointed in this campground. It seemed that everything in this campground cost extra. The water park on site was discounted to $25 per person, per day. The Zip Line offered cost money too. Though you are on a 30 mile reservoir lake, there is no lake access. You get to look at the lake through a chain link fence, but you can't swim in it. They do give you access to the lake in the water park, though it is only a 20' x 10' roped off section. Their camp store is basically empty. The campground was clean and well kept... but that was it. They have signs everywhere telling you No Swimming and No Bike Riding. Upon arrival they made us sign a waiver stating that if we get hurt on their property, it was our doing and not their fault. No pool, and charging you a small fortune for their water park--shame, shame, shame! My site (#42) had studs coming out of the cement pad which I had to cover with wood (to keep toes from getting injured). All my grass area was covered with straw to hide the mud. I could not use my site at all. I would never visit this campground again.

This was our last camping trip of the season. Pools were closed, but we (camped with 3 other families) had an awesome time. Sites were large, though we all had difficulties backing in due to the fences they put up around the sites. Other then the tight maneuvering to park, this campground was PERFECT. They had plenty of activities for our kids, a real nice and large lake that even had an operational tug-boat, and concrete pads at our campsites. We will DEFINITELY visit this campground again. Great pick for the end of a great season of camping.

We have been to Lake George RV Park several times. With each visit, the park seems to get nicer and nicer. Every site is cleaned up by staff, minutes after a camper leaves. Sites are huge and very well shaded. They offer free shows (Magic, Hypnosis, Dog Shows, and Sword Swallowing – just to name a few). Trolley service throughout the park, large store, well stocked snack bar, 2 outside and 1 inside pool, two arcades, paved bike paths, two movie theaters, and so much more. I’ve been RV’ing for several years now, and this is (WITH-OUT A DOUBT) the nicest campground I’ve ever been to. Your views of the surrounding mountains are breathtaking. My recommendation would be to get a site on the lower level of the campground. The upper levels are all pull-throughs, however the lower level is closer to the theater for the shows, Movie Theaters, Snack Bar, and indoor pool. THIS CAMPGROUND IS “DA BOMB”!!!

This was a rustically nice campground. When I reserved my site, I was under the impression that I was getting full hookups, and 50 amp service. They only have 30amp service, and no sewer. So the start of my camping trip was off to a rough start. Probably my fault for not double checking. Keeping things in perspective, all the employees were very nice and helpful. I didn’t like my original site, so they changed it without hassle. They informed me that it was OK to let my Grey Water run into the woods, so the lack of sewer was no longer a major problem, and we just ran one Air Conditioner to keep the breaker from popping. The campground was clean, and they have several small streams running throughout. Roads in the campground are either gravel or paved. The store was well stocked (they even had the cap needed to run my grey out to the woods). The site was not level. My levelers had my rear wheels off the ground. We were disappointed to find that there were no chairs at the pool. You need to bring your own. My family and I had a great time. We would consider coming here again, just not in a heat wave.

We camped here for 4 days. Real nice campground. Great man-made lake to swim in, and a pool as well. Very clean. Sites were a little messy and in need up up-keep. Not very level. Over-all this was a great campground though. We camped here with 3 other friends (in their own campers). EVERYONE had an awesome time. This was our third time camping here.

This was by far the nicest campground we've stayed at while in Myrtle Beach. Staff were very friendly. Sites were clean. Most sites had a concrete pad for both parking your unit AND for awning. My family and I had an AWESOME time. We will defenitly stay here again. Can't say enough nice things about this campground.

Nice Park. Very friendly staff. Requires a digital cable box, which they will supplied for a $10 deposit. We had Digital TV's, so we didn't need the box. Their cable system shut us down for a few hours when it detected no box - but it came back on. The showers were very clean, but they are Pay Showers. The sites are small and clean with cement pads and gravel, but still, very small. We would have no problem returning here.

We were very leery about staying here due to some of the previous reviews. We are GLAD we didn't listen to them. This was an AWESOME campground. Very clean, plenty of activities for the kids, nice activity pool, pet friendly, kind staff, etc. We've been camping for several years now, and this was the first park I've seen that had doggie waste bags offered throughout the park to help keep things clean. This park is about 80% seasonal, however EVERYONE is very friendly. The sites are HUGE. The only negative thing I could say (which is why I couldn't give it a 10) is that the sites are not very level. They will help you into your site though with a tractor if it's too tight for your trailer. I couldn't say enough nice things about this campground. I will DEFINITELY be going back.

We really liked this campground. It was off season, so it was quite empty when we came here. The sites aren't level, but it didn't take much to level out our unit. There are way TOO MANY holly trees. I couldn't count the times I stuck my fingers while playing with our dog. Pay showers which was also disappointing. Cable was very snowy. In general though, a very nice campground.

All in all it was a nice camp site. Very shady, but not level at all. No matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't get my camper level. No activities for the kids. If your not planning in town adventures or white water rafting, don't come here. Out of all the staff, we only ran into one person that was friendly, everyone else was quite rude with an "I Don't Care" attitude. The only way I would stay here again is if we go white water rafting again. We never did find where they had the public showers or restrooms.

This was a nice park. It wasn't in the best condition. At times we experienced very low water pressure. No pool either. The site was not level, but it wasn't anything that leveling jacks couldn't take care of. In general, we had a nice time. There wasn't much for the kids to do though. The hot air balloon was awesome, and there was no charge for a tethered ride. Nice park, but don't expect much. Very nice people.
