Vacation Station RV Resort, Ludington, Michigan

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

First, let me just say this is a very nice park. Almost..too nice! It's very clean and well kept. But, I felt like I was camping in a subdivision, not a campground. We wanted to be close to Ludington, where we spent most of our time. The firepit was too close to our awning so a campfire was out of the question. The staff is constantly riding through on the golf carts and you felt like you were being watched all the time; although that's how they run a "tight ship." The lawn maintenance lasted all day on Wednesday and into Thursday, so there was a constant sound of weed whipping and blowers for 2 days. Even when relaxing at the pool, I had grass blowing all over me. The park is nice with nice concrete pads, cable tv, full hook-ups, but it's not my idea of camping. We camped at Vacation Station RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Riverview Campground & Canoe Livery, Sterling, Michigan

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Spent a long Memorial Day weekend here. Great time. Site was right on the river and we enjoyed watching the floaters go by all weekend. Yes, there was a lot of parties, but there are also quieter spots you could go to. Very well run campground. Lots of things for kids to do, even though we didn't have any with us..we will definitely be back. Our tube trip down the river was so refreshing and relaxing! We camped at Riverview Campground & Canoe Livery in a Motorhome.

River Country Campground, Evart, Michigan

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Nice quiet park. Great location on the Muskegon River with quite a few sites on the river. We camped on the river; lots of mosquitos! Camp staff was very friendly and helpful (helping us after losing power and finding breaker in our RV). Not a lot to do, but did take a short kayak trip down the river. We camped at River Country Campground in a Motorhome.

Munising/Pictured Rocks KOA (Wandering Wheels Campground), Munising, Michigan

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Campground offered many amenities. Seems to be only one in UP with cable, Wi-Fi and pool. Our site was nice, overall sites are laid out nicely. Pool was clean, showers were pretty clean. Posted hours of bathroom cleaning not adhered to, was interrupted twice by maintenance while showering. Also, firewood was good price, but it was not seasoned, lots of smoke! Overall, our experience was very good and we would definitely stay here again. Great location! We camped at Munising/Pictured Rocks KOA (Wandering Wheels Campground) in a Motorhome.

White River RV Park & Campground, Montague, Michigan

Date of Stay: May, 2010 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here over Memorial Day weekend and loved it! We had a "out of the way" site near the creek. Wi-Fi was very hit and miss where we were, but didn't mind. Loved having the creek to play in and cool off in. We were on a dead end street, so not a lot of traffic. Campground is very well run. We camped at White River RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.
