Our family of 8 stayed here for 3 nights. We enjoyed the convenience of Arches National Park as well as the many trails in Moab. We really enjoyed the Negro Bill trail, which is between Moab and Arches. We used Passport America. The campground's website says that children stay free in an RV, but I did not see evidence of this. After our P.A. discount, the children were added. This was still a nice place for a good price.

This is a great place to stay. Our family of 8 had a great time there, and we would definitely return. Yosemite is only 30 minutes away. The owners are two of the nicest people you will meet, and they will do anything for you if you ask. I know that times are tough for a lot of people in CA. I hope that this campground survives and thrives, because the owners are very caring people who have big plans that must be accomplished very slowly. The full hook-ups were great. If you want to see more of the area besides Yosemite, ask the owners, and they will direct you to some great places. For example, a few miles from the campground is a beautiful waterfall that can only be reached by hiking a trail into the woods (about 1.5 miles). It is a great place to swim. Again, this is a great place. I did not know the owners before staying there, but I now consider them friends.

I made a reservation at this park because of its name and our desire to see the Grand Canyon. Although an hour away from the Grand Canyon, the park is in a great location. Williams, AZ, is a nice little town on historic Route 66. There are many shops, restaurants, and a nightly gunfight in town. The scenery surrounding the campground is also very nice - pine-tree-covered hills. The staff is VERY friendly. If you need to use them, the showers/bathrooms are very nicely kept. We stayed there with a family of 8.
