GOOD: Very nice park, right next to the park (you can hear people scream on the roller coasters right from your campsite), clean bathhouse, nice hot water, nice staff. BAD: No cable TV (please add cable: digital receivers get no picture off the air!), Wi-Fi only available at the office and pool, most sites have no sewer, and the prices for firewood, etc. were too high. Had to complain twice about the campers across the road who brought their yappy dog, penned him outside, and left him to yap constantly at least 100 times an hour day and night. (To all campers: PLEASE be considerate. If you have a yappy dog, leave him home, at a kennel, or locked INSIDE your RV. No one cares to hear it!! That's my 2 cents). All in all a nice place. I would go back if I was going to Kings Dominion again.

Camped at one of the premium sites (parked the RV on a concrete pad) which was 100% level, very spacious, and beautiful. Restrooms were VERY clean (constantly being attended to). Staff, except for one short-haired lady at the general store, were incredibly friendly and helpful. (Even she had her good moments, just had a bad day I think. It can happen). Pool was wonderful! Lots of amenities and lots of things to do. Biggest downer was that their free Wi-Fi service was very near non-existent (spotty signal about 3 minutes per hour); so they either have poor service or not enough WAP's. Only a few channels on the cable TV, but that's okay. All in all, an amazing place!! We already booked another stay here for next month!

It was our first stay here. We stayed five nights; thoroughly enjoyed it! Site # 177 is very spacious and level. The staff was VERY friendly and helpful. Food available day and evening including full 16" pizza cooked in their cafe. Restrooms were not cleaned as often as needed especially in the mornings when most frequently used, but for the most part were well cared-for. We booked another stay for August while we were there. My ONLY real complaint would be that the golf-carts they rent have LOUD RADIOS in them (the teens loved them, but I hated the thump, thump, thump of the bass as these carts joy-rode around), but did not make my stay any less enjoyable overall.

Other than the noise from the highway directly next to the campground, everything was nice and the staff was friendly. Did not use the water-slide or the putt-putt golf since you had to pay so much extra to use those. Site could have been more level.

Staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Lots to do if you have kids. Our site was not too level (auto-leveler lifted both front wheels off the ground -- eek). Have been many times and it's always quiet and enjoyable. Fire ring and picnic table are a plus!
