Flying Flags RV Resort & Campground, Buellton, California

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $72.00
Overall Rating:

Reservation staff was fantastic in helping reschedule our stay. We had a last minuet change and they found us a spot on a very busy weekend and did not charge for the late cancellation on one of our reserved nights. Busy park with a LARGE dog area, definitely will stay here again. Many sites did not have satellite access due to trees, but cable worked good. Great pancake house next door and only 10 minuets to Solvang. We camped at Flying Flags RV Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.

Very busy park but well managed. Wi-Fi was a little sketchy, but Verizon service worked great. Stayed here for the NASCAR race, good location also for San Fran. Highly recommend the KOA San Fran tour, well worth the money. Well stocked store and open till 11:00 pm. We camped at San Francisco North / Petaluma KOA in a Motorhome.

Vines RV Resort, Paso Robles, California

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

New park with great pool, hot tub and showers. Very high end , with great wine and beer lounge. Pull through sites are narrow if you have slides on both sides . Some highway noise, but it did not bother us at all. Would have rated higher but it lacks a decent dog area, the large dog run has very large bark/mulch on ground and my small 15 pound dog couldn't walk comfortably on it. Grass or just dirt would be better. We camped at Vines RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Paradise By The Sea RV Resort, Oceanside, California

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

This is our 4th stay here. It is a very clean and friendly park, great staff, especially the maintenance workers who never stop cleaning and always wave and say hello if they see you. The big draw to this park is the beach, which is a 5 min. walk. There are great restaurants and shopping nearby. Our $60 / night rate was for a long (60 ft) pull-through; other sites are less. We camped at Paradise By The Sea RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Whittington Woods Campground, Whittington, Illinois

Date of Stay: May, 2010 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Very friendly staff / owners. I mentioned that I had some electrical problems on our motorhome, and the owner offered tools and any help we might need to get it fixed. TV reception is limited but satellite should work from most sites. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Whittington Woods Campground in a Motorhome.
