We stayed here on Memorial Day Weekend and the following week. Negatives: Just as I read in some of the other reviews, some of the sites are very narrow due to the trees that are located between each site. Also, just as noted in some other reviews, the train/train whistle initially caused some rude awakenings, however by the 2nd and subsequent nights it didn't bother us. Positives: Has easy access, friendly staff, well-maintained park, garbage pickup, Roving Security, Pet Friendly, Kid Friendly, and very close to Cedar Point for a great price. When we arrived the campground was nearly full. We were escorted to a site only to find that the group beside us had a vehicle parked in the spot we were to go into. The park employee ask them to move the vehicle and as we got closer we realized that there were other vehicles parked in the grass between the sites and 2 large tents with multiple adults and children on the site. Absolutely no way to pull our 5th wheel into the site, put out the slides (2) and have any room. (The slides would have pushed up against the tents.) I called the office and we were reassigned to another site without any difficulty. The park employees were very concerned about inconveniencing us by having to move, but we actually like to new site better than the one we had originally requested. As for the other reviews that worry about the need to have night time security and unfriendly staff. We did not feel unsafe at any time during our stay and we did not feel unsafe in the area outside the park. We are night owls and sometimes we were out in the city well after midnight. It is great to see a business taking extra precautions that are not necessary, to assure that you feel comfortable and safe during your stay. Finally, the owners/operators and every employee were very friendly. There was no hint of rudeness as other reviews had documented.

Positives: Clean, well-maintained park, great place to stay, kid and pet friendly. We stayed here Memorial Day weekend and the following weekend as a "stop-over" point for our trip. Negative: The campground is only 3 miles or so off the interstate, but it is accessed by a narrow road. I thought that I had made a wrong turn, but there was nowhere to turn around so I kept going. I was pleased to find the campground. The 3 miles seemed like 10 since it was just after dusk when we arrived. The campground is located on both sides of the road. The best suggestion is to go on past the initial openings to the campground, to the office and there is plenty of room to park, turn-around, etc. The campground is Christian-owned, so by the rules there is no smoking, no alcohol and no cursing. This campground is a treasure to be found at the end of a 3 mile, narrow road journey. We are so glad that we found it and will stay here again.
