Denver Meadows RV Park, Aurora, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

All concrete, asphalt, and dust. The pool has been abandoned. I did laundry and those facilities were clean. The interstate runs just outside the property so it's very noisy. We camped at Denver Meadows RV Park in a Motorhome.

Steamboat Springs KOA, Steamboat Springs, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Friendly staff, but that doesn't make up for the condition of the property. Mud puddle impressions everywhere. Site driveways are mostly dirt so if it rains, and it must have a couple of days before my arrival, the site area is unusable. The place has a general feel of neglect. It is right on the road and the traffic was heavy until about 9:00 pm the night I stayed. People seemed to be enjoying the pool which looked decently kept and clean. We camped at Steamboat Springs KOA in a Motorhome.

Pettibone Resort, La Crosse, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

I think where you stay in this park makes a lot of difference. I was given a site where there were three campers right on top of each other. Across from me along the river the sites were much nicer. It is a nice setting and a nice walk or bike to La Crosse across the Mississippi River We camped at Pettibone Resort in a Motorhome.

Sinclair Lewis Campground, Sauk Centre, Minnesota

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed at this campground two nights. Had a site with water and 30 amp electric. The sites have the utilities at the front of the site which is fine for motorhomes (pulled in facing lake) but would be more difficult for 5th wheels and travel trailers unless you have long power cord and hose so you can back in. One misconception I saw from an earlier review. There is a box at the dump site requesting $3.00 to dump. I asked the manager about it and she said that was for people not staying at the campground. Over-nighters can disregard. They recently repositioned the Wi-Fi from inside a building to outside and Wi-Fi works much better. I'm using it to access this site with a standard laptop. We camped at Sinclair Lewis Campground in a Motorhome.
