Badlands / White River KOA, Interior, South Dakota

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

This is a comfortable, clean, and friendly park very convenient to the Badlands road. We were all alone in the early AM on our drive out, it was very nice. We were parked on the end, and facing opposite all the other trailers on the row. The 30A plug was being used by our neighbor and the owners lent us a 50/30 adaptor without hesitation. Pool was nice and clean, staff was very friendly. We camped at Badlands / White River KOA in a Travel Trailer.

What a beautiful park! Plenty of room, nice level spots, fire pits with grills, lake, playground... All utilities were OK. Onawa is a pretty town with all necessary provisions, for laundry drive about 7 miles up 10th street. Eat at Charlie's Good time Cafe & Malt Shop - friendly and delicious. We camped at Lewis & Clark State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Heritage RV Park, Augusta, Georgia

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Great spot for an overnight. We arrived late (9:30) in a rainstorm and needed directions to the site, owner was very friendly and helpful in getting us to our site. It was well marked with cones, a concrete patio, and picnic table. As listed previously, office has limited hours. We drove around the park on sandy roads looking for our site - should have just called straight away. The only minuses are sandy terrain and limited information for late check in. We would definitely camp here again and recommend the park. We camped at Heritage RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
