Pirateland Family Campground, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Date of Stay: April, 2009 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great family campground. Most sites are on the grass but they have some on pads. The camp's grounds are beautiful and there are many fun things to do for the entire family. Golf carts are available for rent. We have vacationed there for 2 years and have no complaints whatsoever. Pricey but not compared to the value and the beauty of the area. Highly recommend. We camped at Pirateland Family Campground in a Motorhome.

Bald Mountain Camping Resort, Hiawassee, Georgia

Date of Stay: April, 2009 - $31.00

This is a beautiful park. One of my favorite. The sites are nice and the ones on the stream are wonderful. Activities are planned during the summer week ends and the fall. I have stayed here many times and will continue to do so. You can not go wrong at this park. Suitable for larger rigs as well as tent campers. Very family friendly. We camped at Bald Mountain Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Lake Aire RV Park & Campground, Hollywood, South Carolina

Date of Stay: April, 2009 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

The site was large enough for our RV (40 foot motorhome w/4 slides), but it rained and the site was wet. None of the sites are cement, all were grass...or mud. This "could" be a nice park but the roads are full of pot holes and, as previously stated, the sites are muddy. Not much of a camp store for supplies either. The wi-fi does not work after about 10 o'clock in the evening. I would not stay at this park again. We camped at Lake Aire RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.
