Big Oak RV Park, Tallahassee, Florida

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

The long time residents have the shade. The sites were gravel and staggered, but close. Many residents came and went almost all night. Power voltage was low - 116. We camped at Big Oak RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

A Big Wheel RV Park, Saint Marys, Georgia

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $30.00

Lots of shade - easy to find. But it is a scant block away from a huge truck parking lot. Our trailer reverberated with the rumble of the engines all night. Trucks are all gone in the day time. We camped at A Big Wheel RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Poche's RV Park, Breaux Bridge, Louisiana

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Wonderful lake view site (barely long enough for us). Place was very clean, with dumpsters available by the gate. Problem is the roads approaching the park: they are terrible. Could only go 25 mph as they were so rough. No sure I want to go on them again. Camp site is fine when you get here. We camped at Poche's RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This campground is very clean. The laundry was exceptionally clean. Has a reasonable free breakfast. Problem was no shade trees at all. Had a paved site. Located just off the Interstate. We camped at Gulf Coast RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Austin Lone Star Carefree RV Resort, Austin, Texas

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $26.00

Staff was very friendly, helpful and efficient! Has lots of shade trees. Park is gated. Washers in laundry were small and expensive for the size. But over all, a very pleasant place to stay. Will do it again. We camped at Austin Lone Star Carefree RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Artesian Park RV Campground, Brenham, Texas

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

It is very rustic, and loosely run. We had to run a cord to the next site as the plug in ours was damaged. It is quiet except for some highway noise. The entrance directions off highway are very poor. Be careful not to turn down Artesian Lane. We camped at Artesian Park RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.
