We stayed here is a 36 FT Motorhome. Park has total of 34 sites, 7 sites right on the Bay. (higher price for them). We were here for 4 months and had a great time. Everyone very friendly. Some campers organized a few get togethers (pitch-in) during the 4 months we were there. Super Bowl party, Crawfish bowl, fish frys. Managers, Sue and Capt. Rob are just good downhome friendly people. There is a dog park at the CG and a couple dog beaches a few miles down the road. There is wifi throughout the park. 3 different wifi channels. passwords required. signal a challenge at times but mostly good. A hidden plus is the FREE Laundry. 3 washers & 3 dryers. If busy just wait your turn. This was our 2nd year here and made reservation for winter 2017-18.

This park is good for an over night stay on way to final destination. Does have easy on/off for I-65. Could be the time of year but there was no picnic table, no fire ring, nothing, at the site. Site was long and no need to unhook. Cable and wifi were great. Not sure how this CG got the name but there wasn't a tree on the entire place, but was surrounded by trees. Would stay here again only as an over night stop, not a destination CG in my opinion.

This was an overnight stay. Was typical koa. Staff was friendly, Entrance road is long with business/homes along the road to this road is probably 2 way but barely. Even though CG entrance is 1.5 miles from Interstate, road back to CG takes you back in the direction of the interstate so there is road noise. We would stay here again if in the area.

Very nice and quiet campground. We were here for 2 weeks for work at the local military base. Convenient to the Interstate. This CG was quiet but it was mid-March so not many campers. One section off to the side had many long term RVs but all were newer models, well kept and not rundown like other CGs we have been at in years past. The Staff was very friendly and helpful. Cable was good, the first 3 days WIFI was either poor or nonexistent. But on the 4 day problems were solved and was excellent the rest of our stay. This area is known as the sand hills and yes there is sand to some degree everywhere. The coastline from 20 million years ago was either lower or the water was higher. So sand to some degree in your RV is unavoidable. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again if in the area. We camped here in a Motor Home.

Typical KOA, staff was very friendly. Was only here one night. One thing people need to know is about the entrance road and exit road. Google maps misrepresent the entrance and exit when viewed from aerial or street view. This campground is not at road level. You will have to go up a steep road to get to the entrance. Luckily this is a one way road. The exit road in our opinion was worse. We were told it was a two way road, we disagree.

We have stayed here multiple times. We stayed here during the 20th Celebration of the Corvette Museum. This camp ground did not raise their prices like most local hotels did. They have cabins lodges, and one new "double" lodge. The RV site we stayed in was level, and shaded. They do have cable but due to our lack of remembering how to set it up, we couldn't get it on this trip. Staff is friendly. Antenna worked fine and you do get several channels. Site had a stamped concrete patio w/patio table & chairs, fire ring. Restrooms were clean and staff was very friendly. We had a few of our Corvette friends over for a campfire and they were very accommodating. We definitely will be back.

This is a great little campground. Very clean and easy to get to from the interstate. Office staff were very nice and helpful. I did mark no for a swimming pool because there isn't a pool, but they do have a swimming pond and the river is clear and beautiful with many people wading/playing and trying their luck at panning for gold. They are working on getting Wi-Fi but as yet don't have it. Sites are nice size with 2 very large pull throughs that would fit any size motorhome. This was our first time at this campground but will be coming back next year.

This RV park is not recommended. The owners or on site managers have several dogs that run free and crap where ever they like (many piles on our site). Guess this means they are pet friendly. Bathrooms appear to be clean but old rusty fixtures, have musty smell. If you have problems with your feet, the floor of the shower stalls (women's) had some kind of mat on them that was like standing on nails. under the mats was slime, looked like actual floor hadn't been cleaned in years. The children's "play ground" was a joke. swing set with broken swings. All buildings are old and run down. Full hookup is 30 amp. Water is from a well. Pond scummy. This place is at the very bottom of the barrel. Hookups not conveniently located have to stretch either electric or plumbing to its max. Wouldn't stay here again and recommend you head further down the road.
