Trails End Resort & RV Park, Branson, Missouri

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $19.00
Overall Rating:

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL!!! That is all I can say about this RV park. Beware when a website has no pictures of the RV park they are trying to promote! The brochure actually says it has an "extra clean, modern shower house." What a laugh!! After checking in, we pull into the RV park - if you'd call it that - there are many abandoned trailers here - DO NOT RENT an RV - they look like they've been there since 1960 - VERY rundown. Got hooked up - had a view of the sewer drain I think - rickety old decking - rickety old picnic table - rickety old grill. Doesn't look like the place owns a weed whacker. THE BATHROOMS WERE RIDICULOUS!!! Had not been cleaned in weeks or months - mold growing, bugs galore - toilets didn't flush - no toilet paper. Now I know I'm "camping" in a sense - but when they describe their shower house as extra clean and modern - I'd expect at least decent!! I wouldn't even use the restroom, let alone let my 2 year old use the shower. Just awful!! Then the registration desk tried to tell me - maybe they didn't clean today -ha ha - try didn't clean this past year!! Also couldn't get my deposit back - it was up to accounting's discretion!! Ended up staying across the street at the US Army Corps of Engineers park across the street for the same price - with beautiful sites and wonderful facilities!! We camped at Trails End Resort & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Indian Point COE, Branson, Missouri

WOW WOW WOW!!! What an excellent RV park!! This was our very first time on an RV trip. We had originally reserved a spot at the Trail's End Resort across the street - BAD IDEA!! After checking out some of the other RV parks on Indian Point - this was our choice. BEAUTIFUL PARK!! Awesome spot - had picnic table, grill over fire ring, and lantern hanger. Just have to see it to see how beautiful our spot was. (#73) The 3rd night we were moved closer to the lake (#15) and had a beautiful view of the water - right on Table Rock Lake. The bathrooms were VERY decent - I felt very comfortable using the bathroom and shower with me & my 2 year old daughter. Awesome staff - on sight cleaning attendants & park attendants - saw the park ranger MANY times - felt very safe here!! AWESOME little playground for the little ones. Great "beach" area. (rock beach) - but it was great for the little ones - bring water shoes! :) Can't say enough nice things about this park!! We camped at Indian Point COE in a Motorhome.
