Witch Meadow Lake Family Campground, Salem, Connecticut

Date of Stay: September, 2005 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice campground well located near SE Connecticut attractions. Bathrooms were very clean and the staff was very friendly. Most sites are large and level, but many are dirt which could be an issue during bad weather. Sites have electric, water and grey water, but do not have sewer hookups. We had an enjoyable trip and will be back. We camped at Witch Meadow Lake Family Campground in a Tent Trailer.

White Pines Campsites, Barkhamsted, Connecticut

Date of Stay: July, 2005 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This campground seems to cater to seasonals. Our site was very tight and uneven but was nicely shaded. When we set up our camper, we had a problem with the door and could only stay one night when we had reservations for two. We packed up to take our camper to the dealer the next morning. We asked if we could return the next weekend to use the second day we paid for. The campground did not accommodate that request or grant a refund. We will not return. We camped at White Pines Campsites in a Tent Trailer.
