Marin Park, Greenbrae, California

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

This park is a great location, but noisy because of the 101 freeway. The sites are just gravel, no tables or shade. Please be aware that they CLOSE their restrooms from 9 p.m. until 7:30 a.m. (as well as closed from 5-6 pm for cleaning). This may present a problem for some folks, and we found the closure hours excessive. If they opened earlier in the morning it would be more acceptable. We've have only visited one RV Park in Oregon that closed their restrooms, and that was from 10 pm- 6 am, which seems more reasonable. The staff was helpful with good local information. We camped at Marin Park in a Motorhome.

Silver Lake Resort, June Lake, California

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This campground is in a lovely spot across from Silver Lake, but it is way too crowded and so cluttered that it had a city block feeling. This is probably made worse by the fact that there is no grass or real space between the sites. The spaces are so tight that we could hear our neighbors conversations. It is such a shame because this could be so much nicer than it is. The managers are friendly, but we wouldn't stay there again. We paid for two nights but only stayed one. We camped at Silver Lake Resort in a Motorhome.

Great campground and very friendly, welcoming staff. Exceptional facilities with pool and spa and clean restrooms. This is a lovely setting, and a little bit of a drive into Zion, but we'd stay there again in a heartbeat. We camped at Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Rancho Sedona RV Park, Sedona, Arizona

Date of Stay: May, 2010 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is a lovely RV camp and the staff are super helpful and accommodating. The sites are nice and level, some with welcome shade and very clean facilities. One nice feature of this park is that they have one area that is adults only, and this is a nice feature. We had to move during our stay of 6 nights but it was well worth it, and I would very much recommend this park and again the staff were terrific. We camped at Rancho Sedona RV Park in a Motorhome.

Whitefish RV Park, Whitefish, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

This campground is not aesthetically pleasing, but convenient to town. The restrooms and showers were very clean with a nice laundry too. The Manager was so unwelcoming it was hard to imagine. We would never stay here again because of this woman at the front desk. Surely there are more deserving people out there that need a job. I am certain a personnel change would increase their business. We camped at Whitefish RV Park in a Motorhome.
