Treasure Coast RV Park & Campground, Fort Pierce, Florida

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Absolutely outstanding park, very clean, well laid out and very friendly and helpful staff. Concrete pads for coach and toad. Limited pull-throughs. We only stayed one night on our way to the Keys. Perhaps the nicest park that we stayed at all summer. We camped at Treasure Coast RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Riverside Oasis Campground & RV Park, Moab, Utah

Date of Stay: October, 2010 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful, well landscaped park, a true oasis. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi is one of the strongest and fastest that we have had. Fully shaded sites negate using a satellite, but the cable connection has a full selection of channels. The closest park to Arches. We camped at Riverside Oasis Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Beautiful campground with a wonderful beach across the road. One of the few state parks we have found with full hook ups. No cell phone service in the area for almost 10 miles in each direction. Very friendly camp hosts. We camped at Carl G Washburne Memorial State Park in a Motorhome.

Humboldt Redwoods State Park - Burlington Campground, Weott, California

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

The roads are very tight for any 8.5' wide RV. Many of the sites are also short for any RV near or over 30'. We also feel that $35 is pretty steep for a campground with no hookups. We camped at Humboldt Redwoods State Park - Burlington Campground in a Motorhome.

Powell Campground, Powell, Idaho

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

One of the best NFS campgrounds we have found. One loop has 50 Amp service, the other unserviced. Paved roads and pads. There is a great lodge, Lochsa Lodge just before the entrance to the campground that has very good food at a very reasonable price. They also have gas and diesel moderately priced and free WiFi for customers. We camped at Powell Campground in a Motorhome.

Seward Waterfront Park, Seward, Alaska

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Iditarod is a gravel parking lot with large wide spaces and allows over night parking. It is located next to the paved day use RV parking next to the Sea Life Center. Ten spots are right on the ocean and you can view sea otters from your windshield. It is very convenient to all of the shops and restaurants in town. There is a dumpster for garbage, and the sites are numbered and lined out. There are no other conveniences. We camped at Seward Waterfront Park in a Motorhome.

Sealing Cove Boat Harbor RV Parking, Sitka, Alaska

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $21.00
Overall Rating:

This is a paved (blacktop) RV parking lot just across the bridge on Japonski Island at Sealing Cove Boat Harbor. There is 30 amp power and water at each site. There is a dump site at the sewage treatment plant about 1/4 mile away. Pull in forward and you will have a view of the harbor and Sitka sound. About 1/2 mile walk to town over the bridge. The airport is on Japonski Island and there is quite a bit of traffic on the road. There were very few RV's there during our stay. The marina next door has flush toilets, but no showers. Sitka has a free City Internet, but connections at this location were very iffy. We camped at Sealing Cove Boat Harbor RV Parking in a Motorhome.
