Hocking Hills State Park, Logan, Ohio

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

This was our first time to the area, loved the area and the park. The trails are great. Our site was nice we had site 123, a bit of a decline/slope from the pad to the fire pit, however we liked it like that and it worked out great for us. We liked the sites in areas 3 and 4. We had dinner at The Lodge restaurant; it was one of the best brisket dinners I have had in a long time and at a very reasonable price. I would love to come back either in the fall or spring time. We camped at Hocking Hills State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Mackinaw Mill Creek Camping, Mackinaw City, Michigan

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This place has the feel of the 1960s, and I mean that in a positive way, a lot of families with kids running around having fun, feeling safe. Our site was nice, it was on the end of a street with a clear view of the bridge. Some of the amenities were older but maintained. Some of the things that other folks might complain about like: paying for extended use of WiFi, curtain type showers, or even the smaller pool (which our whole family enjoyed). If you want a great family experience this is the place for you. We camped at Mackinaw Mill Creek Camping in a Travel Trailer.

Port Crescent State Park, Port Austin, Michigan

First time at this park as a camper. Love this park. We had site 89 on the beach, great site, if you do not mind sand and wind. The weekend we were there it was misty and colder. But still outstanding. Great walking trails. We camped at Port Crescent State Park in a Travel Trailer.
