Charleston KOA, Ladson, South Carolina

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

This KOA is full of long term residents that don't worry about cleaning up their sites. We where in C-8; one of the very few that have a concrete patio. Most sites are dirt and have lots of leaves. Might be OK for a short time, not any place we would want to stay very long. We camped at Charleston KOA in a Motorhome.

Sunshine RV Park, Savannah, Georgia

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This park is all level with mostly pull-thu's for short time visitors. Owner is very friendly and helpful. Took us to our site. Office is a house about 2 blocks before the park. 50amp/water/sewer all work fine. did not use the wash room, but, did use the laundry. Some long term residents, but their sites where well maintained and clean. This is a great park for seeing the area(Savannah). We would stay here again. we stayed here in a 38ft. motor home-towing. We camped at Sunshine RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tampa East RV Resort, Dover, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2016 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Typical Florida park. All grass site except the 10 by the pool/office.

Put us in B-9. Avoid the B section as it is the lowest point in the park and turns into a mud hole if it rains. Some activities. A lot of French Canadians as usual. These parks are owned by Sun Communities and could be a lot better if they started investing some time and money on the basic features. Probably would not come back here. Rate reflects monthly rate for a month. Staff seemed friendly and helpful. A lot of trees. Pine trees are dripping pitch. Again avoid the B section. We camped at Tampa East RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Rustic Sands RV Resort Campground, Mexico Beach, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2016 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

The park is very "Rustic". We are in a MH so we really don't use the Restrooms or the showers. We had a pull thru site, level and hooks where handy. Owners seemed very nice and let us use there own washer and dry while they did some work on the other machines. We stayed 3 nights and will stay again. Rate is PPA rate. (They make a good pizza.) We camped at Rustic Sands RV Resort Campground in a Motorhome.

Saratoga Springs, Saratoga, California

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This is not a real RV park, it is a day use park for picnics. The road in is narrow and twisty, the sites are VERY short and not level. The bathrooms are not cleaned daily and old. Avoid this if your in anything longer then 10'. They don't tell you this when you talk to them. We stayed in a 38' motor home, never again. You have to wait till the day use parking lot clears out before you can get in or out of your site. Severe steep driveway. We camped at Saratoga Springs in a Motorhome.

E/W/S hook-ups, some are 50amps (4). Cable TV at some sites, not all. Over-night only. Showers and restrooms need a lot of attention, we did not use. We stayed 1 night in a 38 footer. Easy on-off interstate. No more mini-mart at this location ?? We camped at Parkway Campground and Mini-Mart in a Motorhome.

We stayed in a large pull-through site with 50 amps and water. Lots of grass and new gravel roads. We found this park in the Passport America book. New owners are doing a great job of keeping the park in good shape. Big rig friendly. Shade or sunny sites available. We would stay again. We camped at Huron River Valley Resort in a Motorhome.
