Surprised that the roads are dirt. It was windy and dusty. Sites are nice with concrete pads and full hookups. Price reflects daily rate plus $10 reservation fee. Close to the interstate so as expected there's traffic noise 7/24. Not bad inside with A/C going. Would stay again because it's still better than most private CG's.

Great park, wonderful owners and staff and nice mixture of park models and snowbirds in their own rigs. They make sure you feel welcome and include you in activities. Other snowbirds are very friendly and try to include everyone in activities. Would definitely return if in the area. Cash or checks only, no credit cards accepted. Nice pool and shuffle boards too? Not at all like the other mega resorts in the area. Everybody knows eCh other and there is no extra fees for everything. Verizon 4G service is very robust at the CG.

Basically an older snowbird park. Stayed here a month and rate reflects monthly rate of 525.00 for cement pad + electric which is charged at a rate well above their cost. Best watch your electric usage and be ready for a shock at checkout. Grass site would be 50.00 less. Forget the WiFi which is useless, bring your own hot spot. Verizon 4G signal is marginal to good. On site golf course is a 9 hole short course in need of water and a greens keeper. Dumpsters at at the far end of the campground with nothing close to sites for garbage. Park is fairly well maintained but shows its age. Many activities going here and in the valley for the 55+ crowd. No picnic tables or fire rings.

Direct oceanfront beach camping. Go south from the visitor center and the road ends and you drive on the beach. Beach road is fine for big rigs to approx mile marker 5 then gets a little soft. Fires are allowed and the beach is wonderful right out your door. No services on the beach except a dumpster when you leave. Pick up after yourself and get a couple extra large garbage bags from the entrance station and fill them with trash from the beach. Leave it cleaner than you found it.

Nicest most well run KOA I have ever been to. Great management and staff. We stayed under monthly rate in a fifth wheel. Sites are spacious and far enough from each other. Each site has a fire ring and picnic table. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the area.

Very nice state of the art campground. Large lot with fire rings. Shutte bus comes by every 20 minutes 24 hours a day to take you to casino or bring you back. Restaurants and bars at the casino are top notch. There is also a 18 hole championship golf course on site. Great vacation spot for adults, not much to do for the kids. Best off to leave them home. Enough said!

It was a great campground and the nicest owners and hosts you will ever meet. Enough said! All the sites were long pull thru sites with full hookups.

Very friendly host and the sites are literally 25 steps to the beach. That being said the sites are very small and very close together. This means your outside area is your neighbors sewer hose and hookups and slide out. There was enough room for the awning to go out however. But you are at the beach so spend your time there I guess. Also the park really only has 6 sites available for nightly rental the rest of the sites are all permanent residents living in mostly older park models and 1970's mobile homes.

Campground is very run down and not maintained. It is a Thousand Trails campground and also is a KOA. We used Passport America for half price or I would have been very upset. Grass was a foot long and the gravel site pads are mostly mud and that are not level, the hookups are on the wrong side in some sites. Sites were laid out wierd and there were a number of older units in there as full timers and they were run down too. I would not return there even for half price again.

Wonderful place to stay, very large sites with fire rings and picnic tables, we used Passport America for the low rate of $14. Did not use any restrooms. I Believe they are closing for the season in mid October.

Have stayed here several times. Lucky enough to get a lakefront site. Those are first come first serve and not reservable. However other sites are very nice and they all have fire rings also. Shops and restaurants are all within walking distance. Expect colder weather than anything you lookup on the weather apps. There is wifi available but it is quite pricey, something in the $10 a day range through a provider in town. (Admin note: free Wi-Fi at office) Great place to go and hosts are great too.

Nice campground with lots of space and a fire ring. Hosts were very nice and helpful. The lake is very close to CG. Also there is a golf course and supper club on the property.

Would not go out of the way to go to this park. Windmill State Park and Morman Island State Park are both right on I-80 and are both much nicer than this park. The bugs were bad and many sites only have 30 amp and they are all uneven gravel pads.

What a great campground, huge sites and lots of grass. Had a great stay right off the freeway. Can't believe anyone would pay to stay in a private campground when this is so close with such a great price.
