Discovery Pointe RV, Winchester Bay, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

The access to the dunes was very easy, and the staff were friendly. The bathrooms/showers were dirty. There were signs everywhere regarding the rules of the park, and yet no one seemed to enforce them. The beach was easy to access, and the beach area was a good/safe area for kids to play. We would come back to this place. We camped at Discovery Pointe RV in a Travel Trailer.

Turtle Rock RV Resort, Gold Beach, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

Website was misleading. The area outside the campground was industrial and not too nice. The Wi-Fi was not easy to access. The bathrooms were clean and spacious. The staff was nice and held a potluck for all the campers. The walk to the beach was not too far but this area was VERY windy. Would not stay here again, saw many other campgrounds in the area that looked much nicer (especially for the price). We camped at Turtle Rock RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Monument RV Park, Valley Springs, California

Date of Stay: May, 2010 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

The campground is very nice and the views of the water are beautiful. BUT this is very expensive for what is here. Did not use their facilties so not sure how clean they were. Will stay here again but wish it wasn't so expensive. The walk to the lake was a few feet away. We camped at Monument RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
