Harris Brake Lakeside Resort , Perryville, Arkansas

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Good fishing campground. Several full time residents but all seem real friendly. Small narrow camp sites. Just pick a site and check in. I would recommend site #2. Pull through long enough to accommodate any size rig. Wifi worked great during our 3 day stay. We enjoyed the area around Perryville. Peace and quiet is what you get here. We camped at Harris Brake Lakeside Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Bullwinkle's Rustic Lodge's RV Park, Poplar Bluff, Missouri

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

RV park is next to Bullwinkle's Lodge and Bullwinkle's Pub. Park is basically a place to park your RV. Spaces are short. Only had room to park our 29' fifth wheel and park the truck crossways on our spot. It was sufficient as we only wanted to visit the town of Poplar Bluff. I would only use this as a place for a brief stay, not a vacation spot. The park has several permanent residents. But it is safe and clean. We camped at Bullwinkle's Rustic Lodge's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Lake Dardnelle State Park, Russellville, Arkansas

Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

One of our favorite places to set up camp. It is so peaceful here. We stayed in campground "A" right on the lake. There is a swimming area, marina with a store, and plenty of park to walk about. We camped at Lake Dardnelle State Park in a Motorhome.

Campground at Barnes Crossing, Tupelo, Mississippi

Date of Stay: March, 2013 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Campground is located very close to restaurants and shopping. But it feels like you are out in the middle of the woods. Spacious and not cramped with lots of trees. The man in charge was extremely friendly and helpful in getting you set up. We were only here for one night but would gladly stay longer if the need arose. Campground is suited more for adults and not children. Wi-Fi works great and so does the cable. We camped at Campground at Barnes Crossing in a Fifth Wheel.

Cherry Blossom RV and Mobile Home Park (formerly Pecan Point RV Park), Dothan, Alabama

Date of Stay: March, 2013 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Really like this park. It is clean and the staff was easy to work with. We parked at a spot next to the highway, which is probably saved for the overnighters. There will be a little traffic noise. The laundry was working and was clean. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Cherry Blossom RV and Mobile Home Park (formerly Pecan Point RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Titusville / Cape Kennedy KOA, Mims, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2013 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for two nights to visit relatives in the area. The spot we were given had a lot of permanent trailers around it. The staff was great in helping get set up. We were not in the park other than to sleep. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Not overly impressed with the park but not upset with our stay. We camped at Titusville / Cape Kennedy KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Camp Gulf, Miramar Beach, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2013 - $140.00
Overall Rating:

Pricey, but we wanted an ocean view and that is exactly what we got. We parked directly on the beach with water and electric only. For $10.75 the park will come and empty your tanks. The campground is big with lots of amenities. Great place to take the children. Lots off the beach are less expensive but all have beach access. Traffic is an issue if you want to leave the park. The staff was outstanding for such a busy place. We had a great time. We camped at Camp Gulf in a Fifth Wheel.

Magnolia RV Park Resort, Vicksburg, Mississippi

Date of Stay: March, 2013 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

We picked this park for its convenience to the Interstate and the rest of Vicksburg. The man at the desk is a little hard to understand with his accent. The park was okay but there were some questionable looking neighbors. We didn't have any problems with them, but will probably look for a different place when we come back. We stayed here one night. We camped at Magnolia RV Park Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Shady Oaks Campground & RV Park, Harrison, Arkansas

Date of Stay: April, 2012 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Really love this place. It is secluded and the owners are great. We have stayed here a few times in the past and have enjoyed touring "Arkansas' Grand Canyon." Shady Oaks is a little rustic and that is just the type of campground we prefer. Very peaceful but not too far from town. We will be back. We camped at Shady Oaks Campground & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Sunrise RV Park, Texarkana, Arkansas

Date of Stay: October, 2010 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Great park with friendly owners. Stayed one night and would go back. Cable TV and wi-fi worked great. Park has no shade, but at least they are growing trees. Spots were gravel but level. Very convenient to town and easy to get on and off I-30. We camped at Sunrise RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Shady Oaks Campground & RV Park, Harrison, Arkansas

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Extremely friendly owner and host. They make you feel very welcome. Shady is the correct name. There are shade trees everywhere. Not a large park, but it accommodates large rigs. The restrooms and showers are very clean. There is a pool and playground for kids. Close to Harrison, Jasper, and the Buffalo River. We will go back several times to camp here. We camped at Shady Oaks Campground & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
