Lets start with check in. The building and staff were as generic as it gets. No personality. After check in we left to find our site. All I can say is wow. Everything was total unorganized. Campers pulling in to there sites longways, sideways, diagonally, you name it. Golf carts flying by. Bikes, cars, trucks zooming all over the place. Absolutely no enforcement of the rules. Bathrooms were filthy. A lot of the roads were full of potholes. I could go on and on but hopefully you get the idea. Oh yea the sewer and water were on the wrong side of our camper. So make sure you bring extensions. We will never come back!

This campground was spotless. The bathrooms and showers were immaculate. All the grassy areas between each site were cut and manicured. The landscaping was also very nice. Management had us booked in to a site that turned out to be too small for our travel trailer. They moved us to another site no questions asked. The owner was very nice, well mannered. The pool looks to be brand new and well kept. The sites sizes are just ok. The water was good. The electric was good. One big problem for me is this park is right next to a well traveled road. The car and truck noise is loud. If you don't mind being awakened at 6am from the noise you will love this place. Since I am an early riser I would have no problem staying here again.

What a great campground. We received nothing but smiles when entering the office to register. The office/ camp store looks like a giant log cabin and is fully stocked. After paying for our weekend we were then escorted to our spot. The owner then checks to make sure everything works. The weekend we camped was Christmas in July. What great fun. The decorations were amazing. They also had a Kentucky Christmas gift swap. To funny and a good time. The bath roons were clean. The pool was clean. The park was spotless. The owners were true professionals. Kid friendly. Spots were large and spacious. Our spot also had a concrete pad. Nice. Would recommend to all. We will stay here again!

My family and I stayed at Toms Cove on the weekend of June 18-20th. Lets start with the positives. The staff was very friendly. The campground was clean. The bathrooms were clean. The pool was clean. Overall very nice. They also had trash pickup two or three times a day. The camp store was fully stocked and a Mr Whippy ice cream truck that came through at least twice a day. Needless to say that made my 7 year old daughter very happy. Plenty of shaded sites if that is what you prefer. No problems with electric and sewer. They were both located perfectly. OK, now for the drawbacks. Very dusty. we were always wiping things down to keep them clean. Golf carts and mopeds to many and going way to fast. The pool was to small for a big campground and loaded with chlorine. After an hour at the pool my daughters eyes were smoked for at least the next few hours. Sites were not very big. Small pull throughs. Overall a nice campground and would recommend to all !!
