It was very dissappointing!! The website is misleading. There was no sandy beach available. It was overgrown with weeds about 2 feet high. The playground was filthy. Bugs & spider webs were everywhere. We used a towel to clean off the slides so our daughter could have some fun. Our cottage #2 was really dirty too. Spider webs in every corner of every room. The door was covered with bugs. At night when the lights were on bugs just swarmed everywhere. The next morning the walls were covered with bugs, flys, and etc. My young daughter who is still crawling was not allowed on the floor because it was so dirty. Her pants were brown from the little bit of moving around we let her do when we first arrived. The grill that was supplied was tipped over and cracked, so it was almost impossible to cook on it. We ended up microwaving our hot dogs for dinner. We did have a camp fire and there was a nice sunset, but the wind was blowing so hard we had to put winter clothes on (luckily we brought some). Needless to say we cut our 3 night stay to one night. We checked out the next day and went to a much cleaner place and finished up our vacation. We will never return and will warn anyone that ever thinks of going there!

Westcott is a great place to camp. Every year we camp Memorial Day & Labor Day with a large group, over 10 trailers/tents. Love the beach, playgrounds. Everyone is very friendly, and we will return each year.
