Tunnel Mountain Village I Campground - No Hookups (Parks Canada), Banff National Park, Alberta

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This campground is large so we were able to get a spot without advance reservations. The spots were roomy, especially on the outer sides of the loop. We had a fire pit so we took advantage of the free mountain of firewood. That was awesome. The proximity to downtown Banff was really great, too. And the scenery can't be beat. We really enjoyed staying here. We camped at Tunnel Mountain Village I Campground - No Hookups (Parks Canada) in a Fifth Wheel.

Crags Campground, Bridgeport, California

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

Our kids enjoyed the campground. Not a lot of open space in the campsite itself due to the sagebrush, but still enough room. We camped at Crags Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Okanagan Lake Provincial Park, Summerland, British Columbia

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed in a double site that was so spacious. The grass and trees were wonderful and our kids loved playing here. We were bummed that there weren't any bathrooms on our loop. We had to drive down to the lake access to use the shower, but it was clean and spacious so we didn't mind. The access to Okanagan Lake was great. We camped at Okanagan Lake Provincial Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Fireside Resort at Buffalo Valley , Moran, Wyoming

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $90.00
Overall Rating:

Basically a glorified gravel parking lot. The spaces were close together. I stopped using their bathrooms after the 3rd one I tried to use was clogged and/or wouldn't flush. Facilities look run down. The mosquitos swarm in the evening so watch out. We only stayed here because it was the only place that had anything left over the 4th of July holiday. Proximity to Grand Teton National Park is all we were looking for. We camped at Fireside Resort at Buffalo Valley in a Fifth Wheel.

Capilano River RV Park, West Vancouver, British Columbia

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $70.00
Overall Rating:

Packed in like sardines. We were next to a HUGE 5th wheel that left us with about 2 feet between their slide out and our trailer. We couldn't even put our awning out. The sites are so close together. Wifi is terrible. Don't even waste your time with it. The kids liked the pool. The laundry is a racket at $2.50 for wash, $2.50 for dry. We couldn't wait to get out of here. We camped at Capilano River RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park, West Yellowstone, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $75.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful park, well kept grounds. Worth the price. The sites were spacious for an RV park and grassy. We felt like there was enough room between us and the RV next to us. Make sure to move your stuff off the grass or it will get watered! Kids loved the playground. We really enjoyed staying here. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

I found everyone in West Yellowstone very friendly. We had a flat tire on our trailer that had a slow leak and the tire place in town accommodated us at a moments notice. Even the lady at the gas station was especially friendly. We had a great experience.
