Yogi Bear's Sturbridge Jellystone Park, Sturbridge, Massachusetts

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

Thankfully, this was only an overnight stay. CG is run down as stated from earlier posts. Sites are small and difficult to access due to cars and trucks parked partially in the road. Many, many seasonals. Would never stay here again. We camped at Yogi Bear's Sturbridge Jellystone Park in a Motorhome.

Bar Harbor Campground, Bar Harbor, Maine

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful campground! After traveling 1700 miles, it was a pleasure to drive into this charming place. Very well maintained and clean with nice views of Frenchman Bay. Very helpful and friendly staff. It was great to be able to drive around the CG and choose our own site. Good cell reception with AT&T. Pleasant dog walks which our two Bostons enjoyed! Sites are spacious and most of them shaded. We even saw a deer one evening, about 75 feet from our site, grazing in the woods! What a treat. Definitely recommend this campground and look forward to staying there again! We camped at Bar Harbor Campground in a Motorhome.

Western Village RV Park, Carlisle, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: October, 2010 - $35.00

Very average park. Just an overnight stop, but did not like the atmosphere. Sites are small with no privacy. Potentially a nice park with a little landscaping and enlarging some of their sites. Wish I could have given a better review. We camped at Western Village RV Park in a Motorhome.

Wild Duck Campground & RV Park (Adult Only), Scarborough, Maine

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

Absolutely loved Wild Duck Campground! We stayed 6 nights and didn't want to leave. The owners and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Well maintained and clean campground. Great atmosphere, quiet and serene. Sites are attractive, level and shaded. Marsh beside the campground is easily accessible and fun to canoe around the stream/river. I'm partial to the sites that back up to the marsh. Enjoyed watching the many chipmunks, squirrels, ducks and other bird species in and around the campground. Wi-Fi worked well as a bonus. Highly recommend this campground! We camped at Wild Duck Campground & RV Park (Adult Only) in a Motorhome.

Mill Bridge Village Camp Resort, Ronks, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: May, 2010 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Pleasant spot located near Lancaster. Amish farm with cows beside the CG which added to the country feeling. The farmer was cutting hay with his team of Clydesdales the evening we were there. Our site was level and situated by the stream. Not much privacy between sites, but a great stop-over or weekend stay. We camped at Mill Bridge Village Camp Resort in a Motorhome.

Perfect location for exploring Cape Cod. Campsites are spacious and wooded offering some privacy. It has a pleasant atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff. We like the C section best, even though there is no sewer hookup in that area. Would stay again. We camped at Sweetwater Forest Family Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Prairie Creek COE, Lowndesboro, Alabama

Date of Stay: March, 2010 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful CG with spacious sites and pleasing layout. Sites along the creek side seem larger and more private than on the river. Most appeared level with concrete pads. We weren't able to pick up any channels on TV, so don't plan on watching the news while here. No camp store on the grounds. Friendly staff at check in. We enjoyed our stay and will return. We camped at Prairie Creek COE in a Motorhome.

Well maintained CG. Pleasant atmosphere with easy access hiking trails. Lake is attractive with moss hanging from the trees which enhances the overall look of the park. Escorted to our site and has garbage pickup every day if placed by the road. Friendly and helpful staff. Great weekend get away for R & R. We camped at Sherling Lake Park in a Motorhome.
