J & H RV Park (55 + Park), Flagstaff, Arizona

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $53.00
Overall Rating:

This is still the nicest park in Flagstaff but it's getting very pricey. They do not have cable and the wifi is spotty. They need to get a good cable service and improve their wifi. I don't know that we will return until then. We camped at J & H RV Park (55 + Park) in a Motorhome.

Ponderosa RV Resort, Pinetop-Lakeside, Arizona

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This is an old and unkept park. Most of the clients are full time residents and the RVs and park models are in disrepair. I really wish I could give this a better review because the people who own it and the residents are very friendly and helpful. Don't be misled by the nice website, this is not a new or updated park. However, none of the parks in Pinetop-Lakeside are new or well kept. We camped at Ponderosa RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Grand Canyon Railway RV Park, Williams, Arizona

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

This park is new and clean. However, some slob put two matresses in the dumpster that caused it to over flow onto the pavement. Not the fault of the park just some campers are slobs. Our biggest complaint was the lack of of WIFI. We were at the western end of the park and could not get any WIFI. We had to go to the laundry room ramada for WIFI. Other than that, we would return to this park. We camped at Grand Canyon Railway RV Park in a Motorhome.

Olde Stone Village RV Park, McMinnville, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

When we stayed here two years ago it was our favorite park. Clean, neat, great laundry and friendly staff. However, they have recently changed management companies and this staff has no customer service skills. Two years ago the staff went out of their way to make sure we didn't have to move sites for our two week stay. This company doesn't care much for helping the customers. Even though I made our reservations in early February for our stay in July, no one in the office could take the time. We camped at Olde Stone Village RV Park in a Motorhome.

Armitage Park , Eugene, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is our second time here and though it is still a great park it has gotten a bit shabbier in 2 years, probably due to budget cuts. The grass is mowed but the dead grass is left behind which blows everywhere. The new laundry is nice but already looks well worn and it is less than 2 years old. The pull-thru sites are very long and paved and have a fire ring for those chilly night. This is still one of our favorite parks because of the large spacious sites. Will definitely be back. We camped at Armitage Park in a Motorhome.

Collier Memorial State Park, Chiloquin, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

This is a really nice park with friendly hosts. The website lets you pick which site you want according to the length of your RV. The sites are all paved as are the interior roads. The only complaint is they allowed tents where RVs should be including the larger pull-thru sites so the RVs only had back-in sites. They have very few large pull-thru sites and they should be reserved for RVs only. We camped at Collier Memorial State Park in a Motorhome.

Sparks Marina RV Park, Sparks, Nevada

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This is a fairly new and well-done park. Neat and clean with excellent amenities. Friendly staff and clean facilities, even has two nice dog runs. The sites were wide and easily accessible. Both the sites and interior roads are paved. The reason this park did not get a 10 is because the Wifi was terrible. It was slow and hard to connect to email. Would return but they need to invest in better Wifi. We camped at Sparks Marina RV Park in a Motorhome.

Whiskey Flats RV Park, Hawthorne, Nevada

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This is a terrific park in the middle of nowhere. After passing many, many shabby & scary parks from Vegas this was a refreshing relief. Would definitely stay here again. Very friendly staff and good pizza delivered right to your site. This park has wide, long pull-thru sites which are easy to negotiate. Everything works very well. We would definately us this park again. We camped at Whiskey Flats RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park has a wonderful view of the lake but is beginning to look a bit shabby. Needs some TLC. The sites are roomy and the utilties work very well. We would stay there again just for the view. We camped at Lake Mead RV Village in a Motorhome.

J & H RV Park (55 + Park), Flagstaff, Arizona

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

This is the nicest park in Flagstaff and they take advantage with the highest rates. They raised the weekly rate by $30 this year. Even though the website says the tax is included, it is not so the savings per day on the weekly rate is 72 cents. This is NOT a bargain. As stated by previous reviewers the red lava rock is hard to walk on and hard on doggy paws. Though we complained about the clothes dryers not working properly, nothing was done and it took two cycles at $3.00 to dry a load of permanent press. The park is between two industrial complexes so it can be very noisy plus highway noise. We camped at J & H RV Park (55 + Park) in a Motorhome.

Santa Fe Skies RV Park, Santa Fe, New Mexico

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

This is our second stay at this park. It is a very nice park but needs landscaping. Someone needs to be hired that knows the difference between weeds and desert landscaping. The staff is very friendly and the dog park is very nice. For the price they should offer cable TV because the local stations are very limited. The restrooms and showers are clean and nice but the laundry is a bit pricey. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Motorhome.

Taos Valley RV Park & Campground, Taos, New Mexico

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

This park is not well maintained, the sites are small, and the roads are narrow. It is not big rig friendly. The park does not have cable TV and the selection of local stations by antenna is very limited. The Wi-Fi connection is practically nonexistent. The only good connection is in the office or laundry room. We had to buy a booster and still couldn’t connect. The dryers in the laundry room is old and inefficient. We would not recommend this park until it is cleaned up and modernized. We camped at Taos Valley RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Sky Mountain Resort RV Park, Chama, New Mexico

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

What a gem! This is a nice clean, well maintained park. The owners are very friendly. The laundry and restrooms are spotless. Get a spot overlooking the river. It’s a great place to relax, read a book or just daydream. All they need is cable TV to make it perfect. We are definitely coming back. We camped at Sky Mountain Resort RV Park in a Motorhome.

Pagosa Riverside Campground, Pagosa Springs, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

This park is old and not well maintained. It is only a gravel lot next to a dirty, mosquito infested pond. We were so disappointed in this park we wanted to leave immediately but knew we couldn’t find a park in the area because of the rodeo. The park is mismanaged with small tent trailers in the spaces that should be reserved for big 5th wheels and motorhomes with the larger RVs in tiny cramped sites. They also do not like long term customers and would rather cater to the 1 or 2 night people. The laundry was very old with only two dryers. I would not recommend this park and will never return. We camped at Pagosa Riverside Campground in a Motorhome.

Alpen Rose RV Park, Durango, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice park. The field where they put the motor homes has few trees so it can get hot in the afternoon. The cable stations are very limited and need to be improved. It’s difficult to get WiFi at certain times of the day and that also needs to be improved. This campground was recommended by a close friend and I expected more from it. The laundry was also expensive. We camped at Alpen Rose RV Park in a Motorhome.
