Shady Acres RV & Camping Park, Fort Myers, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2014 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

The park is clean. The management is nice. I couldn't give it high marks for two reasons. 1. The internet was non-existant. The only time I was able to use it was 5:00 am and then very briefly. Not a problem for me since I have wireless but if you rely on it you will be disappointed. 2. There appears to be large noisy groups that overwhelm some sites. Mostly they observe the quiet hours after 10:00 pm. But we did not have a quiet restful time when we were there. This isn't management's fault but it appeared to be a fact of life while we were there. We camped at Shady Acres RV & Camping Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Mountain View RV Park, Palmer, Alaska

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

The mountain view is spectacular. Sites are easy to get in to. Everyone seems organized. Spotty WiFi (but that seems to be the deal in all the AK parks we've been to). We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Baycrest RV Park, Homer, Alaska

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

One of the most beautiful views I have ever had in an RV. The internet didn't work. The park looks like it could use some TLC. But the view was worth it. We camped at Baycrest RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Decent enough park, close to the sights. The sites are very close to one another. Many long term residents too. The internet was okay when it was working. We camped at Golden Nugget RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice park, nice owners, great internet. The water was frozen when we were here so we only had electric. The showers were spotless! We camped at Mountain Ridge Motel and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Triple G Hideaway, Fort Nelson, British Columbia

Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

The ground was covered with snow so I really can't comment on how clean the park was. Also, the water lines were frozen so we had to use our own water. The Wi-Fi was good though. The staff was very friendly. We camped at Triple G Hideaway in a Fifth Wheel.

The park isn't all that pretty but it's fine for an overnight. Easy to get on and off the highway. The highway noise didn't bother me and I'm a light sleeper. We camped at Happy Time RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Trailer Inns RV Parks, Bellevue, Washington

Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

The staff was very nice and helpful, BUT the park is right on a major highway. There was lots of traffic noise. But if you run your A/C at night sleeping isn't a problem. Plus it's really close to the city. We camped at Trailer Inns RV Parks in a Fifth Wheel.
