Happy Camper RV Park, Pagosa Springs, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Did not honour Passport America rate despite no restriction in PA listing. Rate reflects Good Sam discount. Managers were very friendly. WiFi was patchy. Only had two local TV channels and one of them was very grainy. The site we were allocated, had the next site's pick-up parked in it, and the owner had gone away with friends for the day. Trash dumper open and overflowing right in front of the line of campers. We wouldn't stay here again. We camped at Happy Camper RV Park in a Motorhome.

A delightful, clean and tidy campground in a Pecan orchard. Daily deer sightings, horse and donkey paddock, catch and release fishing in river, spotless and comfortable clubhouse and laundry. Hostess was very welcoming and accommodating. Cable TV has no sports channel. Price reflects combination of Passport America and Good Sam discounts. We camped at Johnson Creek RV Resort & Park in a Motorhome.

Crockett Family Resort, Crockett, Texas

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park on lake with pull through, shady sites. Very peaceful. Wi-fi and cable worked very well - both included in price. Staff friendly. Cafe open seven days a week. Basic menu, but food was good. Having a dumpster in the main area would be a help. SuperWalmart within 10 miles of the campground. We camped at Crockett Family Resort in a Motorhome.

River View RV Park & Resort, Vidalia, Louisiana

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

The campground was quiet, so very peaceful during our stay. Passport America rate appreciated. We requested a shady site on the northern side. It had good WiFi as it was close to the office, but did not have any cable TV. Clean, tidy grounds. Very modern laundry appliances, although I didn't need to use any. The pool looked inviting. Loved the double swing seat overlooking the river. We camped at River View RV Park & Resort in a Motorhome.

Cullen's RV Park, Hattiesburg, Mississippi

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

No sign anywhere for campground. We had rung days earlier to confirm if cable TV had ESPN as we avidly follow World Cup Soccer. They rang back to say they had ESPN. When we arrived, the ESPN was very grainy with no audio. Most other channels were grainy also. Very disappointing. Wi-fi worked fine. No extra charge. We camped at Cullen's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice, clean, well maintained park. Pull-through sites face HWY 231, but staff were happy to locate us in quieter area at rear. Friendly staff and friendly permanent neighbors. Super Walmart 0.8 miles north. We stayed one week. We camped at Cherry Blossom RV and Mobile Home Park (formerly Pecan Point RV Park) in a Motorhome.
