Sunny Acres RV Park (55+ park), Las Cruces, New Mexico

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

The rate quoted by me is for a month plus electric. I met the owner and had a wonderful conversation. He and his wife put a great deal of effort to make this the nicest park I've been in in three months and 7885 miles of travel. Wide roads and lots of shade. I'd recommend this to any one staying for a night to full time. They went out of their way to accommodate me. We camped at Sunny Acres RV Park (55+ park) in a Travel Trailer.

Road Runner RV Park (formerly Parkview Mobile Home & RV Park), Fort Stockton, Texas

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $12.00
Overall Rating:

I arrived just before 1:00 in the afternoon after having been told it didn't matter what time I arrived. There was no one at the office and the sign read open at 1:00, check in time is 11:00 NO EARLY CHECK IN, so I drove into the park to be out of the way and walked back to the office. Well the "sweet" woman at the desk said "OK, I'll open early, it is customary to check in first". Sorry about that. If the park were any worse looking I would have left right then. I'll be here just one night and won't bother go outside, it is that bad. We camped at Road Runner RV Park (formerly Parkview Mobile Home & RV Park) in a Travel Trailer.
