Imagination Mountain Camp-Resort (formerly Great Smoky Jellystone Camp, Cosby, Tennessee

Date of Stay: June, 2008 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

If you have kids this is a great park. It is out of Gatlinburg about 15 miles but the road is good and straight. The owners are the nicest people you will meet. They want you to have a good time and will come by to see if you need anything. They have planned activities for the kids which includes hayrides with Yogi. Sites are gravel but shady. Showers were push button controlled but were clean. They were cleaned everyday. Laundry on site was in good working order and clean. They take pride in this campground and you can tell. The owners make you feel welcome and want you to return. I am planning on going back next year for a week if not sooner. We camped at Imagination Mountain Camp-Resort (formerly Great Smoky Jellystone Camp in a Tent Trailer.

Overall Rating:

This is a really nice, shaded campground. You can make reservations the week before your stay only. Paved camp sites with fire ring and grills, 30amp electric, and water hookups. The park itself has a couple of different playground areas. Campground has own, and pavillion. Bathhouses were clean and have had some renovation in the last year. Planned activities for kids. Great park to visit. We camped at Rock Island State Park in a Tent Trailer.

Lillydale Campground COE, Allons, Tennessee

Date of Stay: May, 2008 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

This is a Corps of Engineer park on Dale Hollow Lake. It is a good drive from the closest town so make sure you take everything with you. There is a marina at Willow Grove about 4 miles away. This is a beautiful park with a great view of the lake. A lot of sites are in the open due to the beetles killing the trees a few years back. There is still some shady sites in the middle of the park. I will be back. Camp host are the nicest people you will meet. We camped at Lillydale Campground COE in a Tent Trailer.

Noccalula Falls Campground, Gadsden, Alabama

Date of Stay: May, 2008 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

We went with the in-laws here and had a wonderful time. Some of the sites are really close together, but the atmosphere makes up for that. You can here the water flowing from the falls, and the sites are shady. Camp fires are allowed at sites . This is a really nice park convenient to Gadsden. You must go to the flea market in Collinsville when you go here. I will return to this park. We camped at Noccalula Falls Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Camp RiversLanding, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee

Date of Stay: September, 2005 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Camped here the last of September. Weather was a little warm but the campground is very nice. Bath houses are clean and pool was very kept up well. Campground has a little store , clean laundrey facility, three clean bathhouses, and a pool. Stay here when we come to Pigeon Forge a couple of times a year. Lots are spacious with fire ring. Very peaceful and quiet. Trolley runs through campground every 30 minutes or so if you don't want to drive. Gas station and grocery store close by with access on side street so you dont have to get on the Parkway. Love coming here and would recommend it to any one. We camped at Camp RiversLanding in a Tent Trailer.
