Village Creek State Park, Wynne, Arkansas

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

This is a huge park. We stayed in our pop-up for just one night but it would be a good place for a longer stay. Two lakes for fishing and water activities. Campsites are far enough apart that you have your privacy. It was very hot when we were there and the park employee made sure we got a shady spot. The section used by people with horses wanting to stay in their trailers and enjoy the stables and trails, was a good distance from the regular campground so there was no interference with horses and riders. Bathrooms are located in the center of the circle of campers so everybody is pretty close to the facilities. When we were there they needed to do some improvement on cleaning the bathrooms and showers. Other than that, we would go back and enjoy the lakes and other activities. We camped at Village Creek State Park in a Tent Trailer.

Ozark View RV Park, Omaha, Arkansas

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

We spent only two days here and wanted to stay longer. This park accommodates folks with tents to the big rigs. We stayed in a pop-up and enjoyed privacy, a spacious setting, and a lovely view. The facilities are not only clean but decorative. There was a flower garden wherever you walked. The owners were attentive to every camper there and helped out when someone needed assistance. Very friendly people who care about the people who camp at their park. We took in the sights at the Arkansas "Grand Canyon" and went up to explore Branson. Then came back to the park for peace and quiet and gorgeous sunsets. We camped at Ozark View RV Park in a Tent Trailer.
