Excellent friendly management/Owner, large flat gravel site, super clean bathhouse. Very good Wi-Fi. Will stay here again.

Date of Stay:

55+ mobile home park with a dozen site in the middle. The sites are long, narrow, paved, and level (pull-through). Excellent, friendly management, very clean restrooms/showers, and great Wi-Fi. Nice central location for seeing things in the area but a very quiet park. Will definitely stay here again.

Don't let the pictures at their web page fool you the builds (bath, laundry) are new they are just designed for the outside to look distressed like it's an old stage coach stop. Level gravel sites, good electric and water, quiet and strong signal on the Wi-Fi. We stayed a week ($60 + 0.10 per kwh for electric) to tour the surrounding areas. Nothing here to entertain kids. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Date of Stay:

Very large, level paved sites, laundry room with 4 washers and dryers. Pretty quiet as far road noise, park noise none, super nice and helpful owner. We stayed a week ($150) to do things in St Louis, very convenient to attractions and any type of shopping you could want. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Date of Stay:

A very old (1932) city park on the banks of the Wabash River, next to the city boat ramp. Very large level gravel sites, good 30amp power & water pressure. Check in and pay the host at site #1 (cash or check) we got a key to the bathhouse but after a quick check we decided to use our own. Only three units in the park the 4 days we were there, a perfect spot to see all the historical sites from. Since it behind the flood wall and the main drive in is a tight turn check your map program and enter the park from Portland Ave also named Red Skelton Ave (same street two names) this will allow you to enter the drive straight in and avoid the tight turn. We will camp here again.

It is a nice clean safe place to stay while visiting Vicksburg. Everybody from the campground to the casino workers were super friendly and helpful, at check in you're given two vouchers for the breakfast buffet at the casino restaurant ($14 value). We will stay here next time we are in the area.

This is a great campground for visiting all the sites and attractions in the area. All sites and roads are paved, good hook-ups, nice clean bath and laundry rooms. Sites are back in but big enough for any rig. If you use your GPS it will bring you in some small narrow side streets, call the park and they will give you directions that keep you on the larger streets. If in the area again this is where we will stay.

RV Park USA

Comfort, Texas

Date of Stay:

We just finished up a month here (rate reflects monthly rate). This is a very clean quiet park, owners live on site and are very friendly and helpful for any of your needs. Easy drive to Kerrville, Fredericksburg and San Antonio, would not hesitate to stay here again

Date of Stay:

Rate is based on using a coupon $99 for a week. The roads are narrow but we didn't see anybody having a problem navigating them, even 40 ft with toad. Sites were decent size and level, bath house and showers were very clean. Great base for doing things in Austin, would not hesitate to stay here again.

5 Star RV Park

Tyler, Texas

Date of Stay:

Excellent place to park while doing things in Tyler, nothing fancy, decent size level sites with good hook-ups. We were there a week, no road noise that we notice, no firing range noise, the wi-fi was out for four days as they were redoing the entire system nut it was up and running our last day. Very friendly staff, will stay here again.

Date of Stay:

AS the others have said, nice long level pull-throughs, full hook-ups. We stayed here for 5 nights and had very little freeway noise. They offer 5% discount for cash and accept Good Sam. If you are southbound on the freeway when you exit turn right (north), go about 100 feet, and there are two driveways on the right (they look like one). Take the second one that is right in front of the huge yellow BBQ sign, drive through the parking lot to the hotel Office.

Date of Stay:

Very nice park for the price, large level sites, clean restrooms and showers (old but clean). But be warned if you have a pet do not let them out in the grass, you'll spend the next three days trying to get the burrs out of their hair, were still finding them in the carpet two weeks later.

We checked this fairly new park out yesterday. It's a no thrills park, large blacktop area right on the Arkansas River in downtown North Little Rock. Totally fenced and secured with a key pad gate. It's located right at the start of the Arkansas River Trail and Riverside Park. This would be a great place for doing stuff in North Little Rock or just across the river in Little Rock, every thing would be just minutes away. We were told that you get a 15% discount by showing any type of RV or camping membership (such as Good Sam,Escapee, etc or military card).

Membership park with Coast to Coast. The staff and everybody in the park was very friendly, they have a limited number of sites for C2C, our site was very large and level. Spent a week here with the grand kids and they loved it, they already want to know when we are coming back. Everything in the park is free, putt-putt golf, nice pool, indoor hot tub, multiple play stations and more. They now have free Wi-Fi which work pretty good. We will be back next year with the grand kids again.

First, the good: They have a very nice pool heated to 84-degrees. Everything was very clean, the staff was friendly & the sites were paved and level. Now, if I did what my mother always told me I would end it here, but I want to vent and get this off my chest so take it for what its worth. We made reservations 6 months in advance, and they put the deposit on our charge card, when we registered they charged us an addition $50, when I questioned them they said that they had raised the rates, I pointed out that we had reservations and that they had accepted a deposit which normally locks in that price. They just kept repeating, we raised our rates. Since it was 2pm and we had a 6pm meeting with some friends that were leaving the state the next morning we didn't have time to argue or cancel, and try to find another park. When we made the reservation we were told that there was free wifi and cable at every site, NOT, when I asked about that they said that they hoped to have it in by the end of the season. We picked this park for three reasons, location, price and wifi, I guess they figure 1 out of three is good enough. When we called we were told that we had a site right by the bath house (more on this later) and pool, When we got there we were assigned a site as far from the bath house and pool as possible. It was right next to the high power lines and transfer station. The bathhouse is kept very clean, but only has one small shower, and if you are drying off or getting dressed and someone enters from the clubhouse you no longer have any secrets from anybody in the clubhouse. I managed this OK for a week until they decided to do some work on the shower and just closed it for a few days. Had I known that it was going to cost me an extra $50, that there was no wifi and the bathhouse was going to be closed for half of our stay I would have just gone to Rock Crusher & saved all this typing.
