Alligator Park Mobile Home and RV Park (55+ park), Punta Gorda, Florida

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Association owned, mostly park models but a lot of RV sites. One of our favorite parks in Florida, wide roads, big sites (full concrete), mostly open and sunny. We stay here every year for a week. We camped at Alligator Park Mobile Home and RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Orlando Winter Garden Campground Resort, Winter Garden, Florida

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

This used to be a nice park but is going downhill fast. The grounds and landscaping were neglected and just had a dingy appearance. The bathrooms were so-so but are not cleaned daily. There are a lot of snowbirds here that keep their lots clean and neat but it looks like about 20% of the park is now local families living here year round and a majority of those lots were covered with trash. We will not stay here again. We camped at Orlando Winter Garden Campground Resort in a Motorhome.

Encore Winter Quarters Pasco RV Resort, Lutz, Florida

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $19.00
Overall Rating:

We had reservations for 2 months, we arrived on a Saturday and found the office is closed on the weekends, looked around but could not find a packet anywhere with our name for check in info. Found a very nice lady sorting the mail and she told us to grab a site (only 4 available) and let her know the number and she would leave it for the office Monday. Our site was good size, easy in and out with a concert patio and table. The bathrooms were very dirty and never cleaned while we were there. We camped at Encore Winter Quarters Pasco RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Jaymar Travel Park, Hendersonville, North Carolina

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

55+ mobile home park with a dozen site in the middle. The sites are long, narrow, paved, and level (pull-through). Excellent, friendly management, very clean restrooms/showers, and great Wi-Fi. Nice central location for seeing things in the area but a very quiet park. Will definitely stay here again. We camped at Jaymar Travel Park in a Motorhome.

Stage Stop Campground, Neosho, Missouri

Date of Stay: October, 2010 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

Don't let the pictures at their web page fool you the builds (bath, laundry) are new they are just designed for the outside to look distressed like it's an old stage coach stop. Level gravel sites, good electric and water, quiet and strong signal on the Wi-Fi. We stayed a week ($60 + 0.10 per kwh for electric) to tour the surrounding areas. Nothing here to entertain kids. We would not hesitate to stay here again. We camped at Stage Stop Campground in a Motorhome.

We camped at Covered Bridge RV Park & Storage in a Motorhome.

Kimmell Park (Vincennes City Park), Vincennes, Indiana

Date of Stay: April, 2010 - $12.00
Overall Rating:

A very old (1932) city park on the banks of the Wabash River, next to the city boat ramp. Very large level gravel sites, good 30amp power & water pressure. Check in and pay the host at site #1 (cash or check) we got a key to the bathhouse but after a quick check we decided to use our own. Only three units in the park the 4 days we were there, a perfect spot to see all the historical sites from. Since it behind the flood wall and the main drive in is a tight turn check your map program and enter the park from Portland Ave also named Red Skelton Ave (same street two names) this will allow you to enter the drive straight in and avoid the tight turn. We will camp here again. We camped at Kimmell Park (Vincennes City Park) in a Motorhome.

The Campus RV Park, Independence, Missouri

Date of Stay: October, 2009 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great campground for visiting all the sites and attractions in the area. All sites and roads are paved, good hook-ups, nice clean bath and laundry rooms. Sites are back in but big enough for any rig. If you use your GPS it will bring you in some small narrow side streets, call the park and they will give you directions that keep you on the larger streets. If in the area again this is where we will stay. We camped at The Campus RV Park in a Motorhome.

Austin Lone Star Carefree RV Resort, Austin, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2008 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

Rate is based on using a coupon $99 for a week. The roads are narrow but we didn't see anybody having a problem navigating them, even 40 ft with toad. Sites were decent size and level, bath house and showers were very clean. Great base for doing things in Austin, would not hesitate to stay here again. We camped at Austin Lone Star Carefree RV Resort in a Motorhome.

5 Star RV Park, Tyler, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2008 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

Excellent place to park while doing things in Tyler, nothing fancy, decent size level sites with good hook-ups. We were there a week, no road noise that we notice, no firing range noise, the wi-fi was out for four days as they were redoing the entire system nut it was up and running our last day. Very friendly staff, will stay here again. We camped at 5 Star RV Park in a Motorhome.

Hope Village Inn & RV Park, Hope, Arkansas

Date of Stay: October, 2008 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

AS the others have said, nice long level pull-throughs, full hook-ups. We stayed here for 5 nights and had very little freeway noise. They offer 5% discount for cash and accept Good Sam. If you are southbound on the freeway when you exit turn right (north), go about 100 feet, and there are two driveways on the right (they look like one). Take the second one that is right in front of the huge yellow BBQ sign, drive through the parking lot to the hotel Office. We camped at Hope Village Inn & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Boomland RV Park & Campground, Charleston, Missouri

Date of Stay: October, 2008 - $12.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park for the price, large level sites, clean restrooms and showers (old but clean). But be warned if you have a pet do not let them out in the grass, you'll spend the next three days trying to get the burrs out of their hair, were still finding them in the carpet two weeks later. We camped at Boomland RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.
