Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort at Natural Bridge, Natural Bridge Station, Virginia

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

Great family campground, it's been a nice stop for the kids. This campground has plenty of things for the kids to do. Including a pool, waterslides, water park, lake to swim in and a small river to stomp around in. As a result none of the water things are packed and the kids could move around without being on top of anyone else. Our site was down by the river, it wasn't very level, had no cable TV and the WiFi was poor. However if we took our computer up to the rec center we could get a signal. It was a quiet campground, no rowdy kids or barking dogs. The staff was excellent, they have high school students working the activities and they were wonderful. Very friendly and really enjoyed their jobs, it showed. We were pleasantly surprised by this one, we knew the kids would like it but as parents we didn't expect to enjoy it as much as we have. I can honestly recommend this campground. It's one of the best we've been to with regards to activities for the kids. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort at Natural Bridge in a Travel Trailer.

Lakeview RV Park, Bluff City, Tennessee

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

Overall not a bad campground, not a family campground though. It's pretty much three tiers of camping on a slight hill all gravel roads and sites. There's no shade, so it gets a little warm even with the AC running. The pool is a salt water pool and is one of the nicer pools I've seen in a campground. There are 3 washers and dryers which is nice when you need it. It's about 3 miles Bristol Motor Speedway and has plenty of shopping in the area. One thing we appreciated about the campground was the papers they gave us upon check-in telling us where the shopping was, with directions and what side of the road the stores were on. Very helpful! We camped at Lakeview RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tom Sawyer's Mississippi River Park, West Memphis, Arkansas

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Fun campground to watch barge traffic, WiFi was good, and the laundry facilities were good. When there was a problem during the night, the owner dealt with it the next morning, which was greatly appreciated. Overall, campground is not a 5 but we would give it a 9. Definitely worth checking out. We camped at Tom Sawyer's Mississippi River Park in a Travel Trailer.
