Siesta RV Park, Las Cruces, New Mexico

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

This is probably the closest RV park to old town Mesilla. Seems to be mostly residents rather than visitors. The park is run down and sites are close to each other. They advertise pull thru, but for 35 feet and up and pulling a toad, they are not. You'll hang out both ends. There is wifi but the wifi is not connected to usable internet. Very lower-end park. Stay if you have to, but there are much better choices. We camped at Siesta RV Park in a Motorhome.

Lost Alaskan RV Park, Alpine, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Lost Alaskan is above average. Clean, friendly and helpful staff. Sites are spread out pretty good for a campground that's for profit. Sites are long enough for just about any pull through situation, but plan on disconnecting the toad if you want to use the hook ups. They are very far back in the site which is ok if you park in front of your coach. Wifi is good unless you want internet. It is very S L O W. Everyone advertises it, but very few deliver. This is one such campground, they need to buy more bandwidth or offer wifi/internet as an additional charge and get a for profit company like Tengointernet to come in a set up a system.

I would like campground to provide good internet and I'm willing to pay extra to get it. We camped at Lost Alaskan RV Park in a Motorhome.
