The park is nothing more than a large gravel parking lot behind a marina on the Hudson River. Sites are narrow, amenities are few. However, just a 1/2 mile walk away is a PATH station where you can catch a train right to Mid-town Manhattan. Or for a bit more money, you can take a ferry to Manhattan from the marina right on site. The park was full every night during the week we were there, so if you want to see New York City, make reservations well in advance.

The park is located some distance away from the closest town in a very rural setting. Although the setting is pretty, it was a bit of a challenge to get to it and, once there, the steep, narrow roads added another dimension to our challenge. The office staff was friendly, but sent an elderly gentleman out to help us park. Trusting that he had experience, one member of our group following the guidance given by park staff and ended up damaging his awning when he hit a tree. The park management were reluctant to assume any responsibility for the incident, offering a small discount rather than paying for the damage. When another group member had electrical problems, the park electrician requested that the surge protector we ran between the power post and the RV disconnected to eliminate the problem. Needless to say, we declined to do so (probably would have blown all our electronics) and ended up plugging into another power box. We would look for other options rather than stay here again.

Well located park just a short drive away from most of the area attractions. Although many of the sites are occupied by long-term residents or used as vacation get-aways, everyone was friendly and helpful. Sites are large and the office staff was friendly. What more could we want? Well, maybe a sewer hookup!

Large, beautiful park located just outside of Boston. This park is well-run with loads of amenities and a helpful staff. A short drive to a neighboring town allowed us to take the train into Boston to tour the area sights.

Located a short distance from Quebec City, this park was rural enough to provide a quiet, pleasant atmosphere, yet close enough to the ferry to Quebec to make it an easy day trip into the city. The park staff were friendly and helpful.

Great park located about 30 minutes outside of Montreal. The park office was great to deal with, offering guidance on things to see in the area, assistance with arranging bus tours, transportation in and out of Montreal, and general assistance on other needs (such as grocery shopping, etc.).

This park is a real gem set on the shores of Lake Champlain. Although none of the RV sites are waterfront, the beach is a short walk from the RV park and the views are spectacular.

This is a beautiful campground located in the destination resort area of Lake George, NY. There's enough to do in the park alone to keep you busy for several days, but all the local attractions are close by as well.

This is a small park co-located with a marina along the river (canal). Spaces and amenities are very basic with most of the waterfront sites occupied by long-term residents. Very active train tracks run along one side of the park, with trains frequently loud enough to make conversation impossible. It was an OK place to stay for our purposes.

Very nice park located a short distance from Niagara Falls and area attractions. We were parked on a very nice waterfront site. Management did a great job making us feel comfortable and offering advice on things to do in the area.

Nice park in a pretty setting with great management. Remotely located around a small lake. Most of the sites are occupied by long-term residents who use their sites as a vacation getaway. We were parked in an area reserved for short-term stays and were treated very well by the management.

Nice park in a good location with easy access to area attractions. We were given the choice of parking "in the trees" or in a more open area. We chose the open area to ensure satellite reception, but were quite happy with our assigned site. We would stay here again.

This park is nothing to write home about, but it served our needs for a visit to the Grand Rapids area. There was a fair amount of confusion over site boundaries, and it seemed that other campers were scattered around the park in a rather disorganized fashion. Getting level in our site was a bit challenging, but do-able.

This is a beautiful park, well located near major attractions in the area. The park partners with a local ferry service to offer free shuttles to and from the dock from which transportation to Mackinac Island is available. The park itself is beautiful - heavily wooded with lots of amenities. It's huge - big enough to get lost in - but most of the sites are quite large and well-spaced to afford privacy. We would stay here again.

This is a great park, well located to allow us to watch ships traveling up and down the river on the way to the Sault Ste. Marie locks. The park staff were extremely helpful and prompt when dealing with issues. We had problems with the power to our site when we arrived, and they had an electrician out and the repair completed within 30 minutes! The only reason I didn't rate this park a 10 is because there's no sewer hookup at the sites. There are, however, two dump stations on the grounds that are easily accessed. We'd definitely stay here again.
