Pine Hollow Camprgound, Pownal, Vermont

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

This is a small, nicely kept and quiet campground. We were here over a holiday weekend, it was full but still quiet. Not many children or noise making machines. All sites have mowed grass and some shade. WiFi is weak and entire setting is in a bowl, making phone reception weak also. We liked it quite a bit, stayed for a week and would come back. Nearest laundry is in Bennington, but that's not a problem. We camped at Pine Hollow Camprgound in a Fifth Wheel.

My Brother's Place Campground, Houlton, Maine

We only stayed 1 night. The park is big and has large, grassy sites. Some are shaded and mostly pull through. Some recreation equipment is on site and a few ponds, also a walking trail. We camped at My Brother's Place Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Timberland Campground, Shelburne, New Hampshire

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We loved this campground. It is partially wooded, very large but not crowded together, feels like being at camp. Although it's an older camp in regards to buildings, the camping facilities are up to date. New owners will continue to update, especially the WiFi. Currently only available at the office area. The owners have good knowledge of the area and offer info on drives, hikes and the White Mountains. We will definitely come back. We camped at Timberland Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Loch Lomond RV Park, Amherst, Nova Scotia

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Easy to get in and out, nice level sites. Overnighters generally put in a very open "group" area. Was fine for 1 night: a beautiful lake setting with seasonal sites. We camped at Loch Lomond RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Sunset Point Campground, Harrington, Maine

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This park was very easy to get into, with wide, level sites. If sewer was not available, free pumpout was. Each site had a shaded table area and nice grassy areas, tent sites too. Has great views of the bay and walking paths. The office staff was very helpful, lobster could be cooked and delivered to site. We spent 4 nights and it was a very peaceful, picturesque spot. We definitely would stay here again and longer. We camped at Sunset Point Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
