If you're looking to get away from it all, then you will be happy here. Nice little park, with pool, trees, store/clubhouse, cabins, and fishing stream. We were not too excited by the 4 mile gravel road you take to get here. There is no TV, ATT cellphones DO NOT WORK, but was told that Verizon does. The Wi-Fi worked for my wife, but not for my computer (I rarely experience this problem). We came here for the Camping World promo, and sat through the presentation. Not too high-pressure on the sales pitch, and we got to stay free, and received a gift card for our time. We would not stay here again, because of the gravel road.

Okay, we had read reviews that sounded better than this campground turned out to be. Can you say "Terrible?" Well, not that bad, but the Wi-Fi was non-existent, and the manager had no idea if it was broken or not. There was zero TV, even though there was a hookup on the ped, and no showers, restrooms, or pool, unless you count the facilities over at the hotel, which I'm not sure you're allowed to use. There are no comps, or freeplay for the casino given anymore. And all in all, I found the $20 a little steep. Pretty much just a place to park, with hookups, that was off to one corner of the property. The sites were in need of repair and attention, and it looked as if nobody really cared. Bummer, I was hoping for better. The buffet at the hotel made us sick, and the casino was too smokey. We will probably not stay here again.

This is a nice park close to Kansas City, but not too close. Wal-Mart is about 15 minutes away. Very clean, with lots of trees and shade. Pool and store are up front, and the store stocks lots of items for your rig, as well as plenty of food and drinks. Staff was super-friendly, and helpful. Wi-Fi was good, and the hookups well-placed. The laundry was okay, but the dryers were a little on the cool side. Plenty of fishing at the park, as well as nearby. We would definitely stay here again.

5 Star RV Park

Park has continued to improve since our last visit in December. Almost all sites are now concrete pads or level crushed stone and the recently installed new wi-fi system is fast and reliable. The previous reviewer mentioned the area approaching the park but do not let that put you off. We have always found the park conducive to a pleasant stay, and this time was no exception. The owner is very accommodating and helpful and the park is great value for money.

A great little park - have stayed here several times - which is easily the best value for money park in Tyler. (Our rate of $14 is Passport America). We did not have any problems with our 40' motorhome on the access roads. Free cable and Wi-Fi were excellent and restrooms and showers were clean. The owner is making many improvements including more sites, concrete pads, shade shelters over some sites and a rec. room. We would definitely stay here again.

This park is nothing more than a large gravel lot, with hook-ups, and a smattering of small trees. However, it is next to the fairgrounds, and I imagine, that when the fair is running, it is perfect for people that are working, or showing something at the fair. It was only $12.50 a night, with Good Sam. Staff was friendly, and let us pick our site. Worked well for our overnight. We would try to find another town to stay at, but if in Santa Rosa again for the night, we would stay here again.

Okay park. I wouldn't call it a "Resort", but it worked for our stay. Not a lot of shade, and if it was full, it would have been cramped. Strange layout with pull-through sites running front to back in a line to form rows. Nice staff, and the Wi-Fi worked good. Full hookup worked fine. For the price, it was acceptable. We would stay here again.

Beautiful park right near the beach. Pretty crowded, but it was just after Labor day, and the kids were still out of school. Not huge sites, but lots of trees, so there is some privacy. Everyone was nice and friendly. Clean facilities and grounds. We would stay here again.

This is a great park. Very primitive forest area, and absolutely beautiful! We pulled in on Labor Day, and the sites were all pretty full, with lots of kids and families. By the next afternoon, the park was deserted, and we had a very peaceful stay. Close to Mt. Rainier, and St. Helens, and the little town of Morton just west of the park, has all the shopping needs and Wi-Fi available. Caught a few salmon from the fishing bridge at the lake. All the blackberries you can pick in the summer. Nice large sites, and LOTS of trees. We would stay here again.

We really enjoyed this park. The RV park area is set off from the golf course and other homesites, and has it's own clubhouse and amenities. It is kept very clean and tidy. There are alot of rules, but none that are over-the-top, as one reviewer wrote. In fact, you are allowed to wash your vehicles at your site, which I've found to be a very rare allowance. There is a nice lake on the property, that I fished in, and enjoyed very much. The residents that own their sites are all very nice, and made us feel welcome and included in all activities. We stayed here for a week, to take a break from our around-the-country trip of one and two night stays along the route. The one and only drawback that we found, was the lack of cell phone service in the area. There is free Wi-Fi at the clubhouse though, as well as a landline phone for free use of local and toll-free calls. Clubhouse has a large-screen TV with cable, a heated outdoor pool and jacuzzi, a workout room, showers, full kitchen, and meeting area that everyone is free to use. The golf course has all the usual amenities, as well as a bar and restaurant. Nice area, and away from the crowds at Lake Coeur d'Alene. We would stay here again.

We really liked this park. We used it as a base for Yellowstone. It was very reasonable, and the lake was very picturesque. The only drawback, was there was no sewer, but we see this more often than not, at all state parks. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Sites are fairly level, and the park is kept clean. We would stay here again.

This park was just an overnight stop for us, but overnight turned out to be long enough. There's nothing here but a horseshoe pattern of RV sites at a field next to the freeway. When I checked in, I was given the option of paying by credit card for a higher rate than the cash price. I don't like when gas stations do this, and I don't like it when campgrounds do it either. This should be a merchant service, with the fee absorbed by the owner, not me! It was late when I checked in, and had been driving all day, and when I parked in our site, my driver's side wheels were off in the grassy/weedy edge area by about 16 inches. The next morning I was greeted by the owner, chastising me like I was 5 years old, and had walked through his flowerbed or something. I apologized not less than 5 times to his face, but he would not accept my apology, instead he just kept at it saying, "How unneccessary it was" that I parked on his weedy grassy edge next to the power hook-up. This was first thing in the morning mind you, and my wife was awakened up by him yelling at me outside our rig. She awoke, and asked what the matter was, and I told him that I was yelled at for parking on the grass. She was very surprised and unnerved at this, and we decided to just get out of here, without our usual morning routines. I would not ever stay here again. Ever.

The prairies of South Dakota are a windy and desolate place. Wall and this campground are no exception. I gave it a 7, because the water, power, and sewer were functional. The laundry was ok, but expensive. The fishing pond was covered over by algae. Very little shade. Gravel drives and pads, but fairly level. Wi-Fi worked ok. Would not stay in Wall again, but if forced to, I would stay at this campground again.

This park is right on the Missouri River/Lakes area, and has a great view. Park campers are allowed to use all the amenities at the local resort hotel, which was great!!! Has indoor/outdoor pools, a restaurant, free Wi-Fi, lobby and TV's and a business center. Sites are large, and have full-hookups. Staff was very nice and helpful. We would stay here again.

We liked this park. It was inexpensive, and in a good location for our needs. It's on the river, and the sites are large and shady. No sewer at our site, but for 2 nights, it worked out. Wi-Fi was good. Friendly staff. Kids area and pool, but not too crowded. We would stay here again.
