Pearl Lake, South Beloit, Illinois

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Disappointed with our site which was in a big open space with no trees or shade. Lots of rules, biggest problem was no visitors which means you can't have other family members join you if they don't arrive same time as you do. The "Lake" was an old sand quarry they filled with water and are filtering so it is very clean and the sand is very nice, but fishing was awful, nothing in the quarry to be caught. Might stay again, but just to swim., no other activities available and quiet time starts at 9:00 a.m. (for the overnight campers) lots of noise coming from the permanent guests. We camped at Pearl Lake in a Motorhome.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park, Caledonia, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Very expensive because they add an amenity rate on to each person for each day you stay., ended up spending as much as a hotel, but lots of things to do for the kids, beautiful pool area, nice game room, and we had a nice site with a view of the pond and not very buggy either. Would stay again, but the prices are outrageous..had trouble with our electric the whole time also. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park in a Motorhome.

We were disappointed with our site. There is no grass just gravel, which was not great for our dog. The Lake was o.k. for fishing, but not great for swimming. We camped at Sycamore RV Resort in a Motorhome.
