Canyon Gateway RV Park, Williams, Arizona

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Don't be fooled by the pretty photos of red lava streets and green trees; behind the photos this park is a dump. It is about 75% filled with low income, permanent residents, living in old, dilapidated trailers and motorhomes. There no apparent effort by the management to police these residents, maintain the sites, or clean the grounds.

A sign in the office states "No Refunds." So be forewarned, If you end up parked next to white trash in an old trailer with three dogs and four kids, your tough luck. Suggest you drive through, before you pay. We camped at Canyon Gateway RV Park in a Motorhome.

Robidoux RV Park, Gering, Nebraska

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We have traveled in RV's through all but one of the lower 48 states and many Canadian provinces during the past 35 years. This park is by far the nicest RV park we have ever seen. It is owned and operated by the city of Gering. Huge sites, large, immaculate, park like grounds all around. All sites paved with level concrete pads. Management, especially one couple, was just great and accommodating. We highly recommend this park to all serious RV'ers. We camped at Robidoux RV Park in a Motorhome.

Shady Acres RV Park & Campground, Green River, Utah

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This park has great potential, but is not well maintained. What little grass there is between sites is mostly dead from lack of care and water, while the Golf Course on the other side of the fence has beautiful greens. Sites are very close together and management tends to stack RV's right next to each other even when the park is 75% empty. Manager does not seem to be happy with her role, or maybe we just caught her on a bad day. We camped at Shady Acres RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.
