We have traveled in RV's through all but one of the lower 48 states and many Canadian provinces during the past 35 years. This park is by far the nicest RV park we have ever seen. It is owned and operated by the city of Gering. Huge sites, large, immaculate, park like grounds all around. All sites paved with level concrete pads. Management, especially one couple, was just great and accommodating. We highly recommend this park to all serious RV'ers.

This park has great potential, but is not well maintained. What little grass there is between sites is mostly dead from lack of care and water, while the Golf Course on the other side of the fence has beautiful greens. Sites are very close together and management tends to stack RV's right next to each other even when the park is 75% empty. Manager does not seem to be happy with her role, or maybe we just caught her on a bad day.

Date of Stay:

This is an outstanding unknown RV park that is not well publicized. We stayed here in 2008, 2009, now in 2010. It is a great park with wide spaces, green grass between sites, immaculate rest rooms and showers, Wi-Fi, cable TV, etc. etc. We have traveled the US for 30 yrs in a motorhomes and this is one of the better RV parks we have encountered. Trailer Life hasn't even recognized it yet.
