Wow: what a family vacation nightmare. First, don't follow the GPS because it's wrong. Don't call the park office for driving instructions because they will be very rude. They only take cash or check. We were quoted a price of $319.00 for 5 days and at check in it was changed to $366.00. When we questioned it, the guy said let me break it down for you, like we were stupid. The camp roads were all gravel, some of the roads were steep. Some of the camp sites were the size of a shoe box. The bathrooms were very nasty and had standing water through out. The pool was a great place to go till 2 workers came in and started scrubbing the side of the pool with Chlorox. Like you want the kids injesting that. Also don't go in and forget to register your car, cause they will hunt you down to pay the additional $5.00. The only positive thing I have to say about Mountain Vista, is that the TV and WiFi were good and the other campers were great.

It is a nice drive to campground and the staff was very friendly. Check in was very fast. The bathroom is clean. The campground as a whole is very clean. The sites were big . It is an all around nice campground atmosphere. The only downfalls were no tv hook up, and the pool closes to early. I'd still love to stay here again.
