Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground, Bryce Canyon, Utah

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

I'm not a big fan of Ruby's. The location and convenient shuttle into the National Park are great, but the sites are packed into a helter-skelter arrangement very, very close together. The location of the park makes it very popular, i.e. very crowded. Staff was nice, and a very good restaurant was within walking distance. Just not my cup of tea. We camped at Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Rock Springs / Green River KOA, Rock Springs, Wyoming

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Nothing more than an overnight stop. Sites are gravel, fairly level. Cable doesn't work. Good for a quick overnighter, nothing else. We camped at Rock Springs / Green River KOA in a Motorhome.

Mountain Home RV Park, Mountain Home, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Great place to stay. Very friendly staff. Lots of overnighters due to it's location close to the interstate. Very clean, pretty park. Wi-Fi works good, cable TV works good. Sites are level concrete with stable power. This is THE place to stay if you are visiting the Mountain Home area. We camped at Mountain Home RV Park in a Motorhome.

Watchman Campground (NPS Campground), Zion National Park, Utah

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

We were very satisfied with camping at Watchman. Very private sites, fairly level. Be sure to fill your water tank on the way in. At the time of our visit, the road from the tunnel to the Visitor's Center was horrible (10 mph max)! I expect that within a few weeks, re-paving will fix that. The tunnel itself was a fun experience. We camped at Watchman Campground (NPS Campground) in a Motorhome.
