San Francisco RV Resort, Pacifica, California

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

This is a fairly well-run campground. Only real beef we have is that the restrooms could have been cleaned more often although they are top-notch facilities. This campground is basically a parking lot with nice amenities, but has a great location to San Francisco and a small town feel here. We camped at San Francisco RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Grand Sierra Resort RV Park, Reno, Nevada

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This RV park was clean, but nothing more than a concrete lot with a few small trees. My main beef with the park is the swimming pool, which was OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. When we arrived there was a wild party with a cover cost to get into the pool. That continued every night after 8pm and all day Sat and Sun, basically when I wanted to swim. The GS casino was so full of cigarette smoke that we could not stand to use the facility for eating or anything else. We did see a movie here however. We camped at Grand Sierra Resort RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Alexander Valley RV Park & Campground, Healdsburg, California

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

The website looks good: don't be fooled. Absolutely the worst campground EVER. This location is great for the wine country, but I would NEVER again stay here. There are so many reasons for this poor rating I could get into here. Just DON'T bother with this one. It was horrible! We camped at Alexander Valley RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Pony Express RV Resort, North Salt Lake, Utah

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Great CG! Probably the best CG I have ever stayed at without trees. Restrooms were top notch and the pool was great. Campground facilities were clean and well-maintained. I cannot say enough about this place. Everything was perfect! Great location as well, close to shopping and restaurants. We camped at Pony Express RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park of Estes, Estes Park, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

The park is OK, nothing great. It has everything advertised, but nothing special. The pool was NOT heated and was real cold and cloudy and not real clean. Restrooms were OK. Sites were a bit difficult to maneuver into because the park is on a hill and terraced. I think the park is over-priced for what you get. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park of Estes in a Travel Trailer.

William Kent Campground, Tahoe City, California

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

This CG has a park setting, and was wonderful for real camping in a forest. The problem here: the roads are tight and can be difficult to get to the sites even though some sites are large enough to accommodate large trailers. The dump in the CG was also difficult to reach. We found that the work getting to our site was worth the effort. If this CG had showers I would rate it a 12! The location was great on the lake and close to Tahoe City. We camped at William Kent Campground in a Travel Trailer.
