Kellogg RV Park, Kellogg, Iowa

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

If you're passing though, this is a nice overnight spot. There is freeway noise, but it is an easy on/off exit and you're back on your way. It is not fancy but definitely works after a long day on the road. We camped at Kellogg RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Elkhorn Ridge RV Resort & Cabins, Spearfish, South Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $58.00
Overall Rating:

This is a beautiful campground with great views in all directions. The roads and sites are the largest I have ever seen. They have a small store and a nice little restaurant for breakfast and lunch, the food was very good. The pool is very nice and the staff is very accommodating. There are a lot of campgrounds in the area, but in my opinion this is by far the nicest. We camped at Elkhorn Ridge RV Resort & Cabins in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

They have a small gas station directly off route 90; however it is a little small depending on the number of people in the parking lot. There is also a Walmart 1 exit to the west off route 90. There is also an automatic truck wash off the frontage road near Tractor Supply that will fit dually trucks.

Sioux Falls KOA, Sioux Falls, South Dakota

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

The campground has easy access from the freeway, which also creates some road noise. The staff was pleasant and they guide you to your site. Our site was long and wide for a KOA. We camped at Sioux Falls KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Stoney Creek RV Resort, Osseo, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very nice campground with large roads and pull thru spots. The pool and little store were nice. It is very easy to find and there are fuel stops at the exit. The staff was very pleasant. We only stayed one night while passing thru, but we would go back often if it wasn't over 700 miles from our house. We camped at Stoney Creek RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Anchor Down RV Resort, Dandridge, Tennessee

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $69.00
Overall Rating:

This campground has the most beautiful view of the lake and mountains. The access roads and sites can accommodate the largest rigs on the road. Our site had 2 sewer hookups depending on how you put your camper on the site. The staff and camp hosts are great. I wished I lived closer because I would definitely go there more often. We camped at Anchor Down RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

The campground is very nice with large gravel sites and is definitely big rig friendly. The staff is very nice. The pool and restrooms are very clean. The campground is far enough off the road to be really quiet. You are just minutes from everything. We will definitely stay here again. We camped at River Plantation RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Kentucky Horse Park Campground, Lexington, Kentucky

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Nice campground. The check in parking is small for bigger units. We stayed in the outer loop which had nice spacing and a lot of room behind them for the kids to play. There is a very nice large pool. If you like horses the park next door is really nice. We will stay here again. We camped at Kentucky Horse Park Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Bay Shore Family Campground, Andover, Ohio

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

Clean campground with a friendly staff. The sites are narrow and many in our group had trouble getting into our sites. They charged extra for kids and A/C and they have a lot of rules. After charging extra for kids, they have adult swim every night from 8-10. This didn't seem very fair to the kids. We camped at Bay Shore Family Campground in a Motorhome.
